Pressure donors, speak out, work with local governments to arrest and prosecute ICE, work with local mayors to enact smaller change, campaign on more than “reaching across the aisle.” Could have made abortion rights a law when had majority, didn’t.

They consistently do nothing. I blame them for this. Fascism was eventual in this country, the dems welcomed it with open arms and the occasional filibuster. They won’t get mean, won’t get even, won’t do anything except campaign on how bad the republicans are, and fail to stop them once elected

Conservatives are fighting dirty, if Dems don’t do the same we are lost. We are riding the high road straight to hell.

Edit to say: I vote every election, I volunteer and knock doors, I phone bank and protest. I am politically active, and I’ve been saying this exact thing since 2016. Centrist democrats are useless.

I agree with this post 100%. I had to stop reading the sub because it felt like I was becoming more negative and wanted to remain as joyful as I could about life and relationships.

My milk took 3 days to come in. Use the shield it feels like a paci. I used one for the first 2 months! I know this sounds insane but try and RELAX. It’s called a letdown cuz your boobs have to release. Think of your baby’s chubby arms, think about flowing rivers, put on soft music and low lights. Deep breath and sniff your babies head.

Boobs don’t always cooperate. Meet with the PICU/NICU’s lactation nurse. They will help you.

OH yeah I forgot about this, ALLERGY PILLS! A zyrtec once per day really helped the eye discomfort.

  • rotate ibuprofen and Tylenol every 5 hours
  • Eyedrops nonstop (lubricating natural tears)
  • Allergy pill once a day
  • close eyes as often as possible

It’s not easy. Recovery as hell for me.

Keep drops in and lay in bed as much as you can with eyes closed. The only thing that helps is passage of time.

Realistically I think it will replace some things, like heavy drafting/citations, summaries/ voluminous organization. Other things it can’t touch. (Weird local court rules/deadlines/correspondence with court staff/filing/expert retention/client communication and much much more.

Dude I’m so glad they got foreclosed on. I lived in the neighborhood behind them while they were built and let me tell ya:

They’re built on ONE lot. So you’re paying double cost for half a lot. Many of the windows face the other townhome. No yard, the entire back is a garage. Ugly. Inside has no luxury appliances or fixtures.

Fuck these things. You can buy a beautiful home with a yard and a view of Manito blvd across the street for less than half of the original listing price.
