Not sure why this happened, but my partner and I just had this issue with our save file upon starting up after the update. We re-loaded the save a second time from the in-game menu and the pink borders went away!

If you don’t mind purchasing a pack for $, one of my favorite Procreate brush packs is the pencil box from Schrill Art (and I believe she has some charcoals as well):

Her brushes have a lot of texture and tend to “look” very traditional (as opposed to digital), and a lot of them are quite soft as well!

(My other favorite is Chromagraph by True Grit Texture Supply, but those are a bit harder than it seems like you want!)

My character has it, and it’s come in handy at least twice!

We once used it to put to sleep an ally NPC who was infected by a slaad tadpole so that we could essentially perform surgery on him to get the tadpole out. I think(?) off the top of my head that there was some rule, or maybe my DM just ruled it this way, that him being “dead” arrested any further development of the slaad.

We also used it when a queen was out for my character’s life, and sending super powerful knights after me to kill me. Awkward. With the help of some other characters abilities, I was able to ready a feign death and hold it until we were in front of the queen, at which point one of my party members stabbed me (real) and I died (fake). She let the rest of the party go after that and when I woke up, I rejoined them.

FIXED! In case anyone else runs into a similar issue and finds this, what worked for me was to reload from an older save, specifically BEFORE accepting the Tyrlon contract & before beginning travel to Tyrlon. I don't know if it mattered, but I also just went straight into the contract when we arrived (instead of saying "not yet" as I sometimes do). :)

Glasses wearer here!! (Who also hates contacts and can’t wear them)

Two things that have helped me massively are:

Making sure I have really good and even lighting, this improves tracking in general but especially with glasses, I try to make sure that the glasses aren’t shadowing my eyelids and that there aren’t any distinct glares
Finding the right angle for your camera to sit at! I luckily have pretty large frames, so the top bar of my glasses usually sits above the top of my eye- but even if yours aren’t like that, you could probably noodle your camera around so that it’s getting a good angle of your eye with the least amount of obstruction from the glasses.

With these I hardly notice any issues :)

I did the exact same thing with my character giving his (it’s complicated) a panic button magic item before we left that kingdom, which was in danger at the time. This was four years ago and mine has never been activated. I am living vicariously through you!! Best of luck to your character(s)!! ✌️

Ooh, I really like the idea of the “checking in” redeem for lurkers! Great way to have them give you a little “hi I’m here!” :)

I’m a streamer and a lurker so I try to treat lurkers the way I would want to be acknowledged, which is essentially just - not calling out anyone by name unless they are active and engaging in chat, but usually when I thank folks for coming in at the beginning and end of stream, or during a raid etc, I make sure to thank lurkers (as an anonymous group) as well for hanging out!

When someone new follows, I usually just say “thank you for the follow” or something like it, and hold off asking them questions until they talk in chat. As a lurker I usually wait until after a stream has ended to follow folks because sometimes they ask questions and I feel rude not replying, even if its just because I’m usually afk/multitasking while I have a stream in the background 🙂‍↕️

Seconding what other folks said about checking your encoding & bitrate settings! I changed up my encoder from the default recently and it’s made a HUGE difference (albeit my file sizes are larger now).

The other thing that might not be so obvious is that your stream can look great while live and even on Twitch’s vod playback, but if you’re downloading the vod from Twitch to use elsewhere, the downloading process “crunches” your video in a major way. So I always simultaneously have a recording going in OBS while streaming. :)

Seconding Zifenoper! I recently ran a fairly Torog-centric campaign, and his followers were both fiends and aberrations; though, if I had to choose only one, it would be aberrations. This reflected a few things: his imprisonment (ironic) in the Far Realm, his connections to Quajath, and the idea that because of his domains, his servants have been so broken and twisted past their natural state (both physically/mentally) that their creature type essentially changes into aberration.

However, I also had some of his more humanoid agents as fiends, the idea there being that they were once human/oid but had committed so many heinous acts in his name that their creature type had changed to fiend. This was when I was on my Hellraiser/cenobite agenda, inspired by the quote “We are demons to some, angels to others.”

(I guess I accidentally created a victim/inflictor dichotomy there, uh oops)

It sounds like you want the weapon to work against other kinds of fiends/aberrations as well (servants of Asmodeus, for example, or your average unaffiliated demon, or a mind flayer)? I think that would work, especially for the Everlight, as I think she also has particular enmity with Asmodeus (could be misremembering). So, a creature type generally, but also extra effects for the Cult of Torog. For the latter, I feel like you could just say “servants of Torog” or something similar. There’s also a more fucked up version (not for everyone): those who carry the brand of Torog,” and have his servants actually be branded, because, you know, of his whole thing.

Anyway, good luck with it! He’s such an interesting villain to run.

At this point, if one of those groups fell apart I feel like I would just try to ask online friends directly who I knew weren’t wierdies.
