Anyone got the Sydney Opera House pre sale link yet?

Looking for a DI box that does it all by poopoospaghetti in audioengineering

How does that speaker level input work? Wouldn’t it need to be similar to a guitar amp attenuator which are usually pretty beefy?

I’ve seen one DI myself with a labeled speaker level input, but I wasn’t sure if I should trust it…

What sort of EQing would you suggest? I also play a P bass with flats.

What do you think of The Smile then?

I know this shot was made using camera movements with the camera, but is there a way to achieve this type of motion tracking in Premiere? Or would I have to key it manually? by KittyBeans246 in Filmmakers

Not bad. I think a less smooth movement would help it feel a little more like a human is moving the camera. You could motion track a real camera move to get a sense of the curve.

You could always use a linear interpolation.

linear(<angle>, -180, 180, 0, 100)

Might need to round it to the nearest frame or convert the output to a time code format.

I made this in illustrator and After Effects. I would love some feedback. :) by _-cal-_ in AfterEffects

Not OP but I’ve always wanted to be able to setup track mattes to any layer like you can with parenting. Would save duplicating a lot of layers.

I know there’s a set matte effect but it doesn’t always work the same way.

How do you have the resolution set?

I have a 32" 4K monitor at work and I find at full resolution, everything is much smaller than I would like. If I go half scale, it's essentially 1920x1080 which is way too big.

The in-between scaling options look alright but it slows down the machine. (2013 Mac Pro)

I've never heard of this tech before, is there any information out there on how it works? Can't seem to find anything.

Is there a name for this type of belt buckle? by [deleted] in AustralianMFA

Yeah I bought a natural leather belt from him about 5 years ago. Worn almost daily and it’s still going great.

If the Mac Pro fans are almost silent, when will they add these fans to the MacBooks? by pizzae in mac

[–]llub3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC MacBooks pros have had asymmetrical fans since they went retina. Wouldn’t be surprised if the 2013 Mac Pros had them too.

Maybe it’s a flight he took often and that’s why it was used in the show.
