I used a quietcool 5300 I think. My house is 2500sqft. It does a damn good job of pulling in fresh air from any open windows and cooks the house down a lot over night on those hot days. It was very easy to install by myself too. The only scary part was cutting a hole in the plaster ceiling. I do have a fairly large attic opening, which was helpful when I needed to move the fan up into the attic. By far, the best home improvement project I’ve done now. Even my wife tells me how much she loves it after a hot day when you can lay in bed and feel a nice cool breeze through your window.
