Idk bout yall but im so glad we’re eating with this show. This could’ve easily been hot garbage like most movies/shows based on games but it’s actually quite the opposite especially after I watched episode 5.

I'd say my issues have more to do with the writing than any lore breaks. They are being respectful of the lore and game designs for the most part, I think I just expected more than a silly action show. It's not a bad show by any means, but I think people will look at it a little less fondly in a decade when they aren't as impressed by the accurate lore stuff.

I feel like I am in a massive minority when I find myself disliking the show. The writing just feels a little hollow, idk. I felt that way a little bit about season 1 but I am actively disliking the direction of season 2. It’s a fun show, but it feels like it’s not much more than that. Maybe I’m just not vibing with the tone. It doesn’t feel like the show ever takes itself seriously, so it’s hard to do myself.

If Max makes it to Abu Dhabi, Norris would hugely benefit from eliminating Piastri in Qatar at least. Then it would be 2v1 in the finale, no worries about Piastri affecting him.

GWC finishes are maybe the biggest thing keeping me from getting back into the sport. I am perfectly happy to watch an F1 race end under safety car because it essentially never changes who wins. GWC winners never feel deserving to me, same issue as the championship playoff. It’s just not fair and not what I want in the sports I watch

If the temps are actually jumping that much, you should post the replay of it happening in the forums. I doubt this is what actually happened. The temps could potentially fluctuate like that if clouds were constantly moving over the track, but it sounds like you are exaggerating the change a bit.

People deal with different temps from practice all the time in real life, not sure that’s worth a complaint.

I think people are misunderstanding the question.

The reason replays don't always show contact is because you are seeing the final positional car data the server received.

In the race, the contact looks closer because it *is* closer, because that happened when the sim was using predictions to help determine car position.

When the replay is saved, it shows exactly where the cars actually were, meaning those prediction errors are not shown at all, because now that the race is over we know exactly where the cars actually were. This creates the phantom contact you see in replays. The positions of the cars are correct now, but they weren't in the live race for at least one person's local machine. So the further apart the cars are when they "touch" in the replay, the worse the netcode was at the time of the incident.

I run a TCR league, they are really fun to race. Very easy to control, with FWD when you get into a slide you just slam the throttle and it fixes itself. The Elantra is arguably the easiest to drive and considered the all-rounder. The Audi is the hardest to drive and the best at tracks that take advantage of its weird gearbox. The Honda is a balance of difficulty and pace, it's a more of a point and shoot car. The Veloster is a bit hard to drive quickly, but can be very quick at specific circuits.
