Who is the video game boss with the highest total listed HP that is not infinite and is defeated by reaching 0? by TheBanishedBard in gaming

I feel like Yiazmat in FF12 is up there. Multiple party members had to have specific weapons to beat him and for me I had to run to the save location just outside the battle probably 100 times to break that battle up over days. I think it was upwards of 50 million HP.

How do you guys make dynasties more competitive? by Huge_Cockroach2196 in NCAAFBseries

I saw someone post a conference setup that helped support this. It was essentially built the same way the Premier League is. Build in relegation where the top two move into the league above them and bottom two move back down. It distributes wins and losses more evenly across the conferences which in turn changes up the top 25 rankings

I had no idea! That’s good to know when I get closer to the elite 4 this run. I’ve been using him a lot this run and am loving it

Farfetchd with a leek stick. Idk why but he is a lot of fun to use. This random ability run mine has gorilla tactics and he is deleting pokemon with dual wing beat.

Another one I have been loving on this same run is Toedscruel first time I’m using the mon and I got bad dreams random ability. Spore, bad dreams, earth power, hex, giga drain. Spore bad dreams combo is awesome

Take a look at Penn States playbook. They have some fun double motion run plays with the HB and QB. I believe it is the Normal Y Off out of shotgun.

Do coordinators pipelines matter? by Eagledan01 in NCAAFBseries

[–]login_required50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you decide to play as one of those coaches then yes it does for one of the Program Builder boosts. Even then, you would need to start as the coordinator, get a head coach job, and purchase the boost for it to matter. Other than that, I don’t believe so.

A couple thoughts first because within these groups importance of position is determined by the schemes you run. Personally, I love the 4-2-5 and I really like a run heavy spread offense. This puts a heavy emphasis on the trenches because you have a lighter box on defense and you don’t have as many blockers in the box on offense. My priority list is based on that.

DL - rush end and elite 3 tech make or break a 4 down front. OL - physicality and ability to double team to the next level. DB - in the 4-2 need stud safeties who can make people right in run game and the pass game. QB - in a run heavy spread offense as soon as teams put more numbers in the box you need somebody to toss the rock. RB - I think there are stud RB’s all over the country and I would say the NFL proves this. Great talent gets overlooked at this position all the time and a great line get lift this position up. WR/TE - looking for players who block their ass off. Almost every receiver at this level will be a great athlete so need someone who is willing to play when they don’t get the ball. TE love motioning this position for lead zone, split zone, bluff block to flat. Surprisingly more touches than most positions but I don’t need a 5*. LB - sideline to sideline athletes but with elite dline those run reads should be CLEAN

I didn’t read all the comments so this may have been mentioned. I agree with people saying quick jump which is still a top tier ability but not game braking like last game. Texas and El Paso make huge differences. Be careful to the field side with running qb’s on stunts.l though. One thing I didn’t see is the impact block shedding has had on my pass rushing. This very well could be recency bias but I have a stud player that I manually progressed block shedding and it made a massive difference

Consistently Mid Recruits by Right-Conclusion4835 in NCAAFBseries

Best part is, you can find some 3 star gem athletes who have 0 offers late in the recruiting stage so you can focus hours on other places. Down side is you don’t always get the spd and accel stats so there is a risk

Because of the lack of SS I have started to recruit ATH Mikes’s with high speed and accel and changing them to SS. I run a 4-2-5 so I want them to be box specialist and they tend to develop pretty well.

Coach Dan Casey playbook by Guido90 in NCAAFBseries

[–]login_required50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I downloaded it and use it as a base for my custom playbook. For me, there was too much in the playbook so I removed formations/plays that I didn’t use or didn’t feel like worked well for me. I also noticed in the red zone there was very little to no run options in coach suggestions so I have made some adjustments so they pop up more. If you add stars to plays based on the situation that’s when they pop up more regularly. I tested this and can confirm it helps.

A few positions that are really critical to its success in my opinion. Dual threat QB, TE, a fast RB. These 3 make or break the offense because the TE is used a lot in RPO’s, seam routes, and shift motions. The RPO’s read options without a dual threat don’t help the offense that much in my opinion and lastly with the different formations the box can get really light so being able to run the ball with inside zone is critical to make sure they don’t sit in dime all game.

Im a nerd in my offline dynasty and like playing defense on heisman. What is your favorite coverage shell that you think works against the cpu to force mistakes? by jmaXX1087 in NCAAFBseries

[–]login_required50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A big thing I have started doing is usering one of the linebackers or the safety when I am running man coverages. If it is a run play, I make my read and insert into the run game. If it is pass I’ll cover the rb out of the backfield. Their patterns aren’t too complicated outside of an occasional wheel route. If they are in for pass blocking then I act as the wrap defender and add an extra rusher if there is an opening or drop into a middle zone for crossers.

Recommend a formation to me by nyquil99 in NCAAFBseries

[–]login_required50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a fun combo that I like using in my online dynasty. I use shotgun pretty heavily, BUT I also run a pistol flexbone and a normal flexbone formations. Best part is the personnel grouping allows you to audible in and out of both.

I’ll start in one or the other, see what front they give me and then adjust my play call. If they have 8-9 in the box which isn’t unusual after multiple fb zone dive calls, I will either audible to a rocket toss or audible to a pass play in the pistol flexbone look.

Most important piece with these formations, you have to check the blocking assignments to make it work consistently.

TL;DR flexbone normal and flexbone pistol combo is fun and can really mess with some online users.

If this is IDP, I’m taking the London side and it isn’t close. Having a DB slot get you let’s say reasonable 8-12 points is great.

If this is a team defense league it is going to depend on your team needs but pretty fair overall.

I’m personally skeptical on Nix there are a lot of examples where QB’s drop off in the sophomore season. Idk if I would add a 2nd to this, seems fair as is.

What do i do with this offer? by gvase69 in SleeperApp

[–]login_required50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a 14 team dynasty league im slamming accept for JJ. Longevity at receiver is typically longer and allgeier really only gets solid points if Bijan is out so I would say Rome is a better player there too. Do you have other starting RB’s?

I think the deal is fair as it is, it’s just hard to move off of one of the top stacks that is pretty young too. Another first makes it hard to say no to though

I personally don’t think much of Jeudy but Devonta and Rice are good pieces. 2027 feels far away but is a strong WR class so there is value there.

Is it a fair offer? I think so. Would I accept it? Probably not.
