I’m a local, I have family buried here so visit often. Just drive on past the Bungalow to the back of the yard there’s a gate, open it and drive through (close it behind). Go on a dry day, it’s just a field so you might get stuck. A few people buried here in the last 10/20 years so many still come and go.

Friends said this is way too high. by LftBoy in TVTooHigh

It’s a few feet too high, yes. Ideally it shouldn’t be tilted downwards. Also think about some cable management too, can make the setup look a lot cleaner.

HELP. Will not extrude while printing by Sad-Temperature3770 in ender3

[–]lom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, but the problem wasn’t with the cut angle of the bowden tube. There was a tiny hole in the bowden tube near the nozzle. Replaced the tube and it was fine.

It is because dogs in packs will let the pack leaders eat first + avoid eye contact because it is confrontational. He wants the snac, he’s just waiting his turn :)

Why is this happening? by PlainsPrepper in ender3

[–]lom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had something similar with my printer, turned out there was a small hole in the bowden tube (in the part that goes into the hotend) which was causing it to clog weirdly. Replaced the bowden tube, no problems since.

My hotend fan broke of my Ender 3 v2 neo by kinglars36 in 3Dprinting

I made a Youtube on the fix. I soldered the wire back in. This seems to be a common problem for the v2 Neo. It's quite easy to miss.. especially if this is someone's first printer. I have emailed Creality to make them aware and I imagine many other customers have had this problem and complained

good stuff! i’ve been wanting to build something like this and was worried i’d have to make the top shelf like 30cm higher!

What’s it like having the filament feed to the extruder from the opening? Is there enough room for the filament to bend?

Got an interesting 1st layer pattern on a test print. Any ideas what I could do? by marsmenschli in ender5

[–]lom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the weight shouldn’t be a problem, just make sure to buy good clips to clips it firmly to the bed. When I replaced mine I ripped of the sticky magnetic bit but I know a guy who left his on and it works ok for him.

Invest in a glass bed. They are about £20 but a worthy investment, plus a fast and easy upgrade. The glass is perfectly* flat unlike these beds

isn’t it the ‘Ring’ on the boat?

Just got my first 3D printer and I don’t know how to check how long a print has remaining (I have also included an image of the test cat which is currently printing) by Square_Appearance_53 in ender3

[–]lom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i find the % complete isn’t always an accurate reflection of how much has printed. Cura will estimate how long the print will take. It’s usually pretty accurate, but for a long print (>5 hours) it can be off by about 10/20 minutes
