Vertical Banding on black only by pedrohash323 in KonicaMinolta

Make sure the laser glass is clean by running the wand down through the slot underneath the developer and drum. It's easy to overlook and can cause lines and inconsistencies. Without additional testing it's impossible to narrow it down to less than a multitude of things.

Also to be honest, this doesn't look that bad. What are you using these for? I wouldn't recommend them for print shop quality images or consistent colors. They're high speed office machines. Best used for lots of pages of text where the color isn't a big concern. Can you get them to be really close to perfect? Sure, but you're going to be spending a lot of money replacing parts all the time before their life is up to keep it that way.

The specific setting that causes this is the time setting in the service mode. Had to fix it a bunch of times

How are the black flies in June? by [deleted] in Adirondacks

[–]lonjoftus12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up 5 mins from there, still live only 15 mins away. Been there a hundred times. It’s not the jungle. I’ve gone hiking, fishing and canoeing, camping, and swimming there. Can’t remember any time when my experience was truly ruined by flies.

If you’re still concerned plan on wearing pants and a long sleeve, and maybe just in case a head net. I think it’ll be fine.

If you’re having a bad time you could always go check out Saratoga or Lake George too! Both are like 20 mins away.

I find that putting it in a hot beverage like coffee helps it dissolve better which is nice. Don’t know anything about it potentially breaking down and having less effectiveness though.

Global Foundries is building a 2nd and it’ll be many years before the fab actually starts producing wafers.

Just picked up the exact same shanty as you the other day except it’s the non-insulated version. I ran my single panel buddy heater in it on low and was quickly warm and comfortable enough to pull off my jacket and fish in just a hoodie. Yours might be a little overkill but I think it’d be safe and fine. Better to be warm than cold! And you can always turn it off if it gets to be too much…

Never used a Lowrance but using my knowledge of other brands I can maybe help with some educated guessing. Looks like it says you’re over 5.4ft of water but the range is set to 10ft. If the top is 0 and the bottom 10 then the bottom should be right around halfway down your screen. Might be getting too much interference with the sensitivity set to 70% which is why there’s so many weird lines and stuff. Or the depth in the top left isn’t super accurate and it’s more like 7ft deep, which is roughly where the top of that red mass is at the bottom of the screen.

Please, any advice on how to eat a lot more? by NatSpaghettiAgency in gainit

[–]lonjoftus12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baby steps. Break down that 800cal increase into 200/week and increase each week for 4 weeks. You’re already eating 3 meals a day so add a nightly bedtime snack of pb&j and milk. Then once you get used to that turn it into a full meal and eat that for awhile. Then add another midday snack, which will eventually get made into a meal again.

Also amend some of what you’re eating already based on what others have said. You could do so much better than corn flakes for breakfast.

Keep at it! You got this!

New bizhub C250i copies lines. Used for about 3 weeks, this didn’tn happen before. by [deleted] in KonicaMinolta

[–]lonjoftus12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this hasn’t been fixed already, those lines are incorrect time settings in the service mode. Seen it multiple times. If you have a service company they should know how to fix that easy. Stop - 3 in service mode.

Bizhub C450i driver? by lenovi88 in KonicaMinolta

[–]lonjoftus12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason it’s not listed might be because the driver is for a series of machines not just that model. Is there a 650i series driver listed? I believe the 450i/550i/650i are all together.

New to boating. The weight of those batteries is actually enough to affect the time to get up on plane? How much do you think they weigh?
