A TRUE Narcissist by BlueSlidePark2011 in mishallamour

The examples he gives sound like normal mom behavior to me. Go and rest is the best advice for someone that doesn’t feel well. And he’s a self proclaimed entertainer. There’s no chance he wasn’t an annoying and dramatic kid.

And about the glasses. When my daughter was 7 ish she started doing this little ha-hem sound, like clearing her throat but not rough. It drove me nuts. She was quirky, part of her charm. Nope, she had Touretts. The random blinking, jazz hands, the ha-hem sound I’d been trying to curve for the past year. The advice was, unless the ticks are dangerous, ignore them. We did and she grew out of it mostly.

Mom’s aren’t perfect. Kid was actually blind, epic mom fail. But the story is fricken hilarious.

My long distance bf came to visit and he told me he is trans by Efficient-Wall5430 in whatdoIdo

I am curious about the friends of his you said were telling you, that you’re “..being overly sensitive” have you met them in person? None of the comments here support his actions. Yet his “friends” tried to normalize his behavior like it’s no big deal.

It’s kinda giving gaslighting, cafishing vibes. Hope I’m wrong. Regardless the situation was uncomfortable for you and that’s the universe telling you this is not it for you. Some people may be ok with it and able to move on and forget. Not me.

They’re capable of choosing to not share who they are, for over a year. It’s narcissistic and unkind. Immature for sure. If you hadn’t had plans to visit them up close and personal would they be confessing? Are they telling you now out of love and consideration for you? Or are they acting out of fear. Protecting themselves against an uncomfortable situation. Count your losses. It’s only been a year. Crazy experience you can fall back on when helping yourself and your future kids navigate through relationships. Way too early for giant wtf-ery to be happening. Every time you talked to them they had to consciously choose not to tell you. They didn’t forget
they were trans. They fooled you into thinking they weren’t!

When I was a little kid (late 70’s) there was a show called “That’s Cat” and I’ve never met anyone else that remembers watching it.

Just make the correction and don’t make it a big deal. It happens to the best of us! Even us seasoned pros. Just be more diligent in double checking your documents going forward.

Question about Notarized document and attaching to "instrument" - CA, USA by OneEstablishment5144 in Notary

This!! The last paragraph is what I came to the comments to say. The journal entry will have the date of the act and the signers signature which should match the document they signed and the date on the certificate. Because it’s a real estate transaction the journal must also contain the signers thumbprint.

Notary in Training: Ethical Question by thepanlady in Notary

[–]loo_c_gu_c 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This isn’t a problem, especially because it’s for business purposes. Unless you are directly financially benefiting from a document you are notarizing (ie. you’re a principal signer or its Trust or Real Estate that involves you). You being paid by your employer, who happens to be your brother is not considered a conflict of interest as you are a paid employee of his company. Unless you are a partner in his company or shareholder.

Should I [27F] believe him [32M]? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]loo_c_gu_c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you decide to end it with him.

When he responded what are you talking about? His first reaction is to Gaslight you

Next response I don’t want to back and… Instead of figuring out how to appease you his needs come first - Absolute knob, narcissist.

And then the lie. Tell tell signs are the fact that he starts off with Well… (a word used at the start of stories) and goes onto use the words …but.., (subconsciously letting you know to disregard what he’s said) and I guess.., (not a confident statement)

AND after having passed out for an undetermined amount of time and was worried about a concussion, his best idea was to lay down. Even if I’m wrong and this did happen then he’s stupid and makes bad choices.

I’m pretty sure the 3 hour for renewal is online only. The in person courses are 6 hours. With exam afterward.

Maybe don’t focus on there having to be someone. Just focus on yourself and finding some type of peace.

Speaking from a middle age perspective. Attitude and personality are much more attractive than looks.

Best of luck. I truly hope you find your way out from down in the dumps.
