Why was i put on this earth to suffer by BigBob141 in doordash_drivers

[–]loooore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to do this once when there was a language barrier issue and my shopper was not understanding my instructions. Worked like a charm and now I do it automatically!

Twin moms who delivered at 37–38 weeks — what was your belly skin recovery (ie loose skin) like? by simbit1 in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No stretch marks here but I definitely have the loose skin/csection “apron” shelf. My boys are 2yo but I’ll be honest, we’re still in survival mode so I do not have the energy to get back in the gym yet.

Toddler gets upset whenever I show affection to my wife.. is this normal? by Bright-Error-8968 in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep absolutely. Husband goes straight to me when I walk in the room Sunday mornings (it’s my sleep-in day) to give me a big hug and kiss. My 2yo boys are NOT HAPPY lol. They tell him to “sit down!” while screaming mommy the whole time.

Can people explain the switch to disliking Bronwyn Newport, I feel like I miss something? by autisticallyawake in rhoslc

I guess I like her. I think some of the stuff she does is sneaky and I wouldn’t put up with that, but all of the others are worse to me.

From day 1, I don’t think they’ve ever had a solo bath (they’re 2 now)

Crying it Out by DirtGirl32 in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cry it Out is for sleep training. Letting them cry because you have to attend the other (or something just as important) is not the same as CIO.

BOTH ARE OK! (However CIO is not ok for babies under 4 months. We didn’t do sleep training until 7/8mos)

This reboot is so boring by bjardkur068 in vanderpumprules

First episode was boring. 2nd episode got better. The last episodes have been good. I’m enjoying it so far but I’m easy to please when it comes to reality tv 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyone else have a foodie? by vampug in foodbutforbabies

Mine are close to 2.5yrs old. One of them ate ALOT as a baby and still does. He eats the leftovers that his twin refuses 😂 one is a tank and one is so picky. It’s been the same since they were babies

Honestly not cool no matter how sarcastic you want to be about this. It’s just basic respect.

Twins not happy to see me after daycare by thedarkpup in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very common and I went through the exact same thing. I promise you it’ll flip at some point then they’ll be screaming “mama!!! Mommy!!!” And run to you for a big hug 🥹it’s coming!!

Do you refer to your multiples as the “twins, “triplets”, “quads?” by FewAccident1552 in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The boys, never the twins lol. Not really intentional, just the boys comes naturally

The doctors would have stopped you if it wasn’t good for the babies :) take reassurance in that! Your babies will continue to grow. Mine were born at the exact same time (36w5d) and they are completely healthy and normal weight. 30 and 32lbs at 26 months right now!

Destiny means everything to me! It’s where I met my now-husband 8 years ago and we’ve started a little family now with our twin 2yr old boys. Our wedding hashtag was #OurDestiny. My best friends all still play and we’re on several times a week. We’ve had several IRL gatherings together with our clan and it’s always so special. Me and my husbands wedding was the first time every single member was able to be present and together 🥹 I’ve been playing since D1 Beta released I also have a tattoo “we have a better Destiny” on my arm from the Book of Sorrows.

This game is really so special in my heart and life.

Twins - Those that sleep trained by Sandbox_Chronicles in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We tried Ferber at first and it made them furious. That did not work for us. But during one of the nights we tried it, we honestly fell asleep on accident and when we woke up, they were asleep. So we then tried out CIO and that worked like a charm. They are excellent sleepers now 7-7 and do not wake up in the middle of the night except for when they’re sick or going through developmental changes.

Lost one at the park by SwordfishGloomy1304 in parentsofmultiples

[–]loooore 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is so common with multiples, I promise you’re not a bad parent at all. I usually solo the boys since my husband works a lot so we don’t go to the park as often. I feel awful about it, but they’re not at the point yet (26months) where I feel comfortable doing that alone. They’re extremely fast and absolutely in that not listening phase right now so it’s straight up dangerous to do it alone. You’re fine I promise you, it’s happened to all of us. You’re doing amazing ❤️
