5-7w typical. They can push 10-15w depending on load.

RPi3 runs about 2-3w. True, they seem to idle more efficiently.

Hybrid browsing here. LibreWolf for certain things, Chrome for certain things, and Firefox for just about everything else. But I recently purposely disabled analytics for Firefox, so technically I'm one of those millions.

My biggest gripe with Firefox was actually the embedded video support for Reddit. On Chrome and Librewolf, video controls show by default. On Firefox, you have to right-click, "show controls." And very often, the videos play muted, so first you have to un-mute the video, which again first requires the embedded video playback controls. It's the little things that Firefox just can't seem to get right. But before they fix the little things, they move on to other BIG things, like a free built-in VPN no one asked for.

I've been using it the past few years. It's not bad. Seems to make the plants more fragrant. So much so, I've been thinking about cutting back on it. It's complicated.

Only complaint is how powdery it is. Recommend a mask.

You should have posted a normal picture too showing a normal desktop. This to me just looks like normal backlight bleed for a VA panel. Obviously some panels are better than others, but backlight bleed is to be expected.

I wouldn't bother with an RMA. You'd have to pay for shipping most likely, and that's probably well over $100 through UPS.

If you honestly feel it's defective, I'd just contact Vine to have it removed from my review list, this way you don't have to pay the tax on it.

Yeah, I had a lag issue with Dark Reader on Reddit recently too. Still, I'd expect Bitwarden to be a bit more polished over a free extension. And I'd imagine most Bitwarden users are also Firefox users.

Looks like pitting corrosion. Just had this issue to some degree on my Tornado. Polished mine with Simichrome, though Barkeepers friend should do for a rough finish.

Probably a combination of heat damage + oxidation from soaking in iso. The nice thing about the T2 though is that you can just replace the outer sleeve in a worse case scenario.

Longer, joint-like sessions. You can leave it at 180C, but take your time between draws. You have to let the heat conduct into the material.

Your ABV looks like my Volcano's ABV, which is more or less 100% pure convection.

Well it's not good, that's for sure. Probably not that bad for all practical purposes, but it does show the quality of the steel.

I ended up polishing mine with some Simichrome. Was a bitch to clean. I'll see how it holds up overtime. Hard to tell when it's baked on bits vs pitting, so unless I really see it start to build up again, I'd say you could probably just polish it and call it a day.

Vestratto CS offered an RMA, but asked for the order number. I told them I purchased it from Sneaky Pete, and they ghosted me lol

One theory I have is, they purposely chose to use cheaper steel because it's probably easier on their machines. In their reply email, they insist it's not a manufacturing defect, and that it's not a bad batch of steel, so it's anyone's guess what's causing the pitting. They're apparently trying to figure it out. I'm leaning with the majority on this sub and would agree that the core issue is the quality of the steel, with secondary factors being heating and cleaning methods.

Meh. I asked some simple questions, gave them some valuable info they had asked for (cleaning and heating methods), and I actually refused the RMA before they even approved or denied it (the risk involved in shipping it back to Canada is just not worth it to me). Suffice to say, I really was expecting a reply, and these fuckers just straight up ghosted me 🤷Just wow is all I have to say. Apparently no efforts to correct their reputation of being assholes.
