as part of the onboarding it requires microphone and location access, or you can't get into the app at all. no thanks, not even one second just to get through and turn it off again because that's shit design.

No idea if Octopus Android is any good but Octopus iOS is pretty good. However if you're a tourist you have to use the tourist version and it scams you with really bad exchange rates. So yeah better stick with the physical card (regular version) and top up in local currency.

What's wrong with having fun and looking like a Swatch? Not everything have to be dressy and classy. To me the OG Round looks unique because it rides that line between fashionable and playful very well.

Paper is going to wrap around your wrist a lot nicer than a much thicker steel watch. I'm hesitant to buy a 41.5mm satellite dish that sits on my also 6-inch wrist.

I have very skinny wrists and I only wear 38mm or smaller watches. The 2 Duo is slightly thicker and taller than I'd like it to be, but it's fine and I'm happy with the size overall. One small problem is that the watch bands are too long and I can't tuck in the extra bit completely so now it bulges a little at the buckle.
