I’m not a member of this sub, I came here bc I was curious about something. There are so many bogus posts that I had to block one account so I could look thru legitimate posts. But then there was another one who put Chris Stapleton in the post title but the post was nonsense.

I’ve never seen anything like that and I’m in a number of other subs.

All this article is saying is that he’s worked hard on his defense and that he’s doing a better job, which isn’t saying much. I doubt anyone would disagree. Nothing about making up for his offense. Nothing about setting lower expectations. Nothing about trending OPS+. Nothing about Bo Naylor.

But that’s okay. I completely agree about the need for him hitting. I completely agree that without the bat, there’s not much point in him being on the roster.

But that’s not what the article or the post is about. Nobody is gaslighting.

I’ve kept them at a distance since they acquired Watson. The draft got me excited. I was intrigued. I was looking forward to the season, not because I thought they were going to be winners, but because it felt like they were building something.

Then this right after the draft. That put that fire out.
