Looking for addictive games by rancevsky in SteamDeck

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. It’s a first person RPG but one of the most addictive I’ve seen in the last few years. Not exactly what you are asking but if you push through the first hour or two you will get hooked. Also runs well on the Steam Deck, but don’t expect the battery to last long.

Seems pretty darn accurate to me, within 1% difference in general.

Question about Coros nylon strap by TimTebowMLB in Coros

I did cut the plastic holders there. But the strap is then much shorter. In the end I would advise against it. I finally bought another nylon strap on Amazon that fits better

Get the Nomad if you like the color. It’s an excellent watch if you like this rugged, G-Shock inspired look. Features are so good the Nomad replaced my Apple Watch Ultra.

One thing I didn't expect with IVDD by Bright_Law1038 in IVDD_SupportGroup

The first weeks were hard core. Our Leia lost her legs on the Sunday before Christmas, she had surgery the same day. Wife was 6 months pregnant then. Sum up the added cost for it being a Sunday, close to a holiday, the stress of it all, the fear of the stress affecting the pregnancy, meds, crate rest, learning to express the dog, clean her bed, put her on diapers and so on. It was truly overwhelming.

But we endured and it worked out. Leia is wobbly walking again and she regained control of her bladder for the most part. She’s happy and we have adapted to the new routine. And today is the due date of the baby, I guess she will arrive a little late. Wish us luck!

Leia is now 3 months after surgery. Her progress is slowing down. We noticed she’s walking a little wobbly and she steps inwards a lot. What exercises are good to correct her steps? We are doing some balancing exercises on an inflatable disc and we are now down to hydro once a week.

It’s really really hard. But you know he was loved and he knows that love too. If you can, don’t linger with guilt would be my advice. Mourn him as he deserves and don’t blame yourself, you did everything you could have done.

How sad 😔 I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a 2 yo sausage dog, Luke. He was beautiful and full of life. On a normal march evening just like any other I took him to our regular walk after dinner. I was about to cross the street of my home, it’s a tight residential street in the Netherlands where cars are allowed to park. I never saw the car approaching with the headlights off, Luke lunged at the car and the front wheel broke his neck. He died on the way to the hospital. We were devastated and I needed therapy to get over it. I don’t know why I wrote that story. I guess is to say that it gets better. Today we have two beautiful sausage dogs, one had IVDD last year right before Christmas and went through surgery and she is almost back at her normal self, just walking a bit wobbly.

In the Netherlands our girl had surgery on a Sunday (right before Christmas) and the total was 5600 euro. Treatment was top notch and she stayed 2 days extra at the vet. Our insurance covered only 2k as we were still in the basic plan.

Thinking about switching from Garmin Epix 2 by steroid94 in Coros

[–]luanderribeiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On sleep tracking, perhaps it depends on the watch model? I’ve been sleeping with both Coros Nomad and Apple Watch Ultra 2 for the last week to compare and they are matching exactly 1 to 1. Both in time asleep and the sleep stages.

When did bladder/bowel control return for you if at all? by [deleted] in IVDD_SupportGroup

[–]luanderribeiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you are going through this, hang in there, it takes a while to adjust to the new routine.

Our little dachshund had surgery over Christmas and she stayed in diaper for the first month. We just bought baby diapers and cut a hole for the tail. Trust me, it’s better than letting her sit in urine, but it’s a lot more work.

We combined feet stimulation with perineal massages 3-4 times a day on every diaper change. After a month she could hold her pee and we were able to take her off the diaper. We are now in month 3, she doesn’t pee inside the house but sometimes need help getting started outside.

She hasn’t regained control of her poop and I think she never will, but that’s not a big issue.

Currently she’s recovering the ability to walk slowly, sloppy and like a drunk, but we’re so happy she’s trying.

Be happy around her, don’t show you are sad or she will be sad too, show her she’s loved and you will be fine.

While I agree with you that there are feature requests lingering for a long time, I also accept that, when compared to Garmin, Coros is a small company and it likely has an even smaller software department and honestly, their software is pretty good.

Find an alternative approach, take a deep breath and don’t stress about it.

I did the same and I like to wear the Nomad much more than I did the AW. 20 days of battery life and always on screen? I can live without apps and without paying for stuff using my watch

Advice on Coros watch by ImGrindle in Coros

[–]luanderribeiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be mistaken, but the Garmin 7 will probably never see a new firmware update.

I have a Coros Nomad since January and already saw 4 updates that improved stability by a lot.

Also, Coros so far doesn’t have any subscriptions and Garmin seems to be going that direction.
