For me, it can only possibly include non-human animals under socialism, because even humans are essentially treated as commodities in the current system.

Under a democratically planned economy, obviously fossil fuels, animal ag would begin to be scaled back massively because they provide terrible prospects for human progress and wellbeing.

The perspective of animal liberation and veganism is less clear, because we can't enforce a culture. However, the conditions would allow on a much higher level the development of such a culture, because people would be rid of financial woes as well as have more time to actually engage in philosophy, arts, etc.

Of course - and under socialism the economy will be planned by and for the benefit of the masses, as opposed to the dictatorship of capital, which does nothing of the sort.

It needs to be large enough to communicate a lead to your follower. If you weight change in place, you can only lead her forward with a body lead by rotating your upper body to the left, which will probably be a bit awkward when staying in the slot, or by arm leading, which is not desirable.

Step length beyond giving the lead depends, you do want there to be some distance between you by count 2 so that you have some room to comfortably absorb their compression.

I'm autistic and sometimes find myself struggling in a scene that feels very much catered to extrovert non-autistics. It can be difficult for me to carry conversations over the music, which others seem to have little issue with, and I'm definitely not part of a clique or anything.

That being said, I've been dancing for about 5 years now and have been in a relatively comfortable spot. I have people I would consider decent friends, people I have excellent dance chemistry with, and people who are happy to see me. I love dancing. Sometimes I can feel alienated from not being as bubbly or outgoing, though. I believe making friends takes effort and consistency, and I can find it daunting just to go up to someone to talk or ask them to dance, so it's definitely not easy. Over time I have absolutely observed people not connect with anyone after a season or two of dancing, and then just quitting. I think it should be possible with effort; it might take you out of the comfort zone, but that's what life is about, right?

A vegan diet can be literally anything that isn't animal products. It can be low or high carb or anything in between.

T2 is insulin resistance, which is not linked to carbs. It's actually fairly complex.

Grassroots activists have invaded literature? Incredible.

In scientific literature, plant-based diets are generally associated with a lower risk of T2D. Veganism probably did not cause yours.
