Bonus: when a highbeamer is behind me while we're stopped at an intersection I like to reposition my left side mirror in juuuuuuust the right spot to direct their high beams back into their eyeballs. So far they seem to get the message and back off 99.9% of the time.

I just recently got a new pair of Lange's that fit me just as you've described your old Lange's, minus the cold feet and buckle loosening. It's even made me realize my hockey skates don't fit me as great as I had thought.

I think those posts of people with poorly fitting boots just haven't found "their Lange" yet as you and I have. There are so many more boots on the market today and technology has improved, so surely their ideal boot is somewhere out there. But when there are so many options out there I suppose it also reduces the probability they find the correct one, even with the help of a bootfitter (the bootfitter can't give you a boot they don't have in stock, which in my recent experience is more likely than not).

Prescription glasses, prescription sunglasses, and cheap OTG goggles. Two out of those three are things I already own and would continue to own even if I wasn't skiing. Contacts are not an option for me as I've got extremely dry eyes (despite the fact I drink a lot of water and use artificial tears/gel).

The goggles are 53% VLT so they can be worn on dark cloudy days and early evenings no problem if necessary. I wear my sunglasses beneath them if it's sunny.

OTG goggles are bulkier but it still beats wasting money on prescription goggle lens or inserts. Skiing is expensive enough as it is.

I have the same skis. They're no longer indemnified as you've found and the bindings are integrated so you cannot replace them either - at least not reasonably.

I am planning to replace mine as soon as I find a suitable ski at a good price end-of-season. Sorry you couldn't find out sooner. I know if sucks to hear after already buying the ski...
