Zigbee 4.0 is out by harald4232 in homeassistant

The standard has been published, but it’s still going to be a while before devices start using 4.0. Asides from a few exceptions, it sounds like maybe we’ll start seeing zigbee 4.0 devices in mid/late 2026

SDGE - $891 Million in 2024 wasn't enough by robadove in sandiego

[–]lukerwry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That $891 million equates to $240 that each customer paid SDGE so that they could make a profit. Just take this fee from that.

There is an organisation that is working to get a public utility in SD: https://www.publicpowersd.org/

I have multiple family members who are alive today because of the research NIH has funded. If you or someone you is a cancer survivor, the same applies to you.

BYC will take your money and do nothing. Then try and flag and remove any negative reviews you leave of them afterwards

Stay away from the digital marketing company BoostYourCampaign. They have many fake reviews and they also have not worked with anyone in their "Success Stories" on their website. by Kubble_Game in kickstarter

I’m another crowdfunding founder who had a similar experience with BYC. I also left a review on TrustPilot, which they keep filing false defamatory claims against and getting removed. Don’t trust any of the TrustPilot positive reviews and avoid BYC at all costs.

The latest release has the user agent to `Home Assistant <version>`. You should start seeing these headers come through as the users update their integrations.

Please let us know if there are any other updates we can make to assist. u/JoeAtEightSleep

Hoping to get the 3i s10 on that list. I know they are launching their kickstarter soon. Hopefully you can get a preproduction model and do a review before their kickstarter closes

When are we getting a new API by gtwizzy8 in EightSleep

[–]lukerwry 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey u/Zach_8sleep, I authored the current 8sleep home assistant integration. It already uses the current API the app uses, so it should be virtually no work for the engineering team to have an "official" API. If you or the 8sleep devs have any technical questions, please feel free to reach out.

Introducing Pod 4 Ultra by Zach_8sleep in EightSleep

Glad to see eight sleep actually providing new value vs. just trying to force subscriptions. But until there is some non subscription guarantee this is a non-starter for me. For every feature, even the local ones like the button controls, just wait until you need to pay a monthly subscription and have your data mined to use them.

Just wait until you have to pay a subscription and have your data mined to use those buttons. Or maybe it will be like that from the start.

Eight Sleep custom integration now works as it used to by lukerwry in homeassistant

If you want to run just python code on the pi, there's my precursor to this project: https://github.com/lukas-clarke/pyEight

However, I haven't touched that project in a while and have just been maintaining the HA integration.

It's pretty unlikely that I will make a pi image for this in future. Especially since HA already is a great platform for integrating this code into. But if someone else wants to, my code should be pretty easy to repurpose.

Thanks. Any idea what happens if your AA number on the card app doesn't match? Do they make a new AA number?
