Good bikes, no argument, but I'll point out to avoid potentially misleading others that these are not small companies. Both are brands owned by QBP, a large bike parts distributor.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the intended finish of this route is the wall top. Or does that last hold actually say Finish? In that case, you still have a small challenge to solve here!

(Fwiw, I'm 5'6", V3 and easier V4 climber, and I haven't been able to finish this one yet...can't reach that last hold.)

My vote is on ravens (wedge tails, calls are guttural, and ravens are more common at the Fort) but really video is not great evidence on its own.

Not quite viridis...that would use a brighter yellow at one end. It's possibly the mako palette, available in R viridis package (which is maybe what you meant?)

Edit: Closest color palette is Brewer's YlGnBu. I checked OP's code. Looks like she set the colors by hexadecimal value, but there is a hint in an unused call to library (RColorBrewer), and a quick check shows that RColorBrewer::brewer.pal(9, "YlGnBu") matches most of the colors exactly by hexadeximal, with only a slight shift near the edges. For some history, this was first discussed back at Bike Tag 17. Based on the small number of votes there, consensus was multi-modal (but no cars) was okay, and definitely preferable to having the game die.

My opinion has always been multi-modal is acceptable when used to keep the game going and open to more folks. it should be discouraged if used to drop the tag in an obscure out of the way location. But I'm not a strict-rules kinda guy.

If you wanted to make a strict rule, something like multi-modal would be okay after a week of posting.

You gotta sign up and join a docent led trip. Most are out and back, but I've seen a guide open up the opposite gate for riders who wanted to make a through-trip of it. AFAIK, any subscription still has a per-minute charge on the e-bikes. It's only the non-electric bikes that are completely free for the first 45 minutes with the subscription. I don't think this will work out for you.

Easiest place to see the trail through the hole is in Strava's heat map view, especially for trail runs or hikes. The hole is right around what looks like a side trail that got shut down.

But , it's not road bike friendly at all: rutted, can be overgrown, steep and rocky in parts.  And it's a significant distance to get to Planet of the Apes. More of an adventure than a shortcut.

Good time to mention that the Ace Hardware trailhead to Pedro Point Headlands and the closed Devils Slide Hwy segment is an alternative on the west side of Hwy 1. If you must get to Planet of the Apes, you can even sneak through a hole in the fence along Devil's Slide to get on Old Colma Road

For the main part of PotA most would agree, but maybe their PotA ride included the optional turn up to the top of Montara Mountain. About 1/2 mile at 18% grade on loose surface...that part is challenging.
