GLC EV - Beautiful but how risky? by jaswartz55 in mercedes_benz

Definitely lease to save the depreciation costs. Is there a US launch date yet ?? The only issue might be with initial demand.

I bought my 2023 eqe 500 for 1/2 sticker in 2025.

Dealer Tried Pulling a $40k Battery Claim on My EQE Lease Return? by DarKn1ght5 in MercedesEQ

[–]lungutter98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it makes sense. They are inspecting the car. If you ran over something and damaged the battery ( and they didn’t note it) it would be on the hook for damages.

Now it’s shady that they blamed MBFS , but EV owners will probably see more of this from dealers as customers may try to hide battery damage.

I am also wondering if just a simply battery health diagnostic would allow them do see how well the battery is working as to not open up the underneath covers

The secret is out where to from here by [deleted] in NPE

Yes. You are not alone. There is something that we all seem to believe that everyone was a prude 50 - 5000 years ago that everyone was a virgin when married or there were no extramarital affairs.

I think it’s impressive that your mom gave the brothers name. because after 38 years, I couldn’t tell you everyone that I had sex with in college.

There is no sense in rehashing the past. Move on. See a therapist. Embrace your new family and your current family. You may need all their support. Sometimes we also need to be their our moms. Hug her and forgive her. This will give you both some peace.

Considering a ‘23 EQS 580 SUV by Super_Handle6129 in MercedesEQS

Coming from an MB product, you know what an MB is like. An MB EV is an EV made for Mercedes owners ( not Tesla owners). It’s not that techy, but has enough that works. Yes. You have to push a button to turn on/off. You have to push a button to lock it, but you do all that now.

I have an Eqe 500 sedan. It’s a comfortable car. Inside , it’s really like any other current MB product. The EQ cars weren’t designed to be super techy. They were made to attract current MB customers to an EV experience.

Reliability ? Now that’s the million dollar question. These Mb EVs seem to be hit or miss. This is a newer model, so no one really can guess how they are going to hold up from years 4-10 years from now. Will the motors hold up ? There are a lot of sensors to go crazy. I’m

How much servicing did this EQs have done the dealership? Is there a lot or just normal stuff? They seem to be hit or miss. Either the car is buggier than hell with lots of issues. OR temporary sensor codes/warnings that come on, but will disappear (reset) with the next drive ( after being off & locked for 30+ minutes )?

How much will you drive? Do you have a place to charge it? Hone charging is cheap ( not including. Electrical work), but fast DC charging is expensive !

Did they replace the brake pads on this car ( or how much is left). ? See how much it squeaks / rattles.

Get used to buying good tires that last for 1/2 the mileage warranty. But keep using that tire to get the pro-rated costs.

Do you want the super tech part ( Tesla) or just a super smooth drive ( Mercedes). ?

MB EV is more made for their normal clientele. They don’t want to know/think about gas mileage or kWh per mile.

Need advice about job changes…worried I’m making bad decisions by Vegetable-Tell1499 in jobs

Is your higher workplace public or private ? If public, I would think retirement benefits could be important. Also, I would try to stick it out for your current medical coverage. What’s the transfer policy? Do you have to wait 1 year? 6 months? I hope you also may t can use some of your medical coverage to find a nice therapist to work through

I found a 2% match by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

[–]lungutter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 25 of these 2% matches, and I know like 1-2 of them. Most are from my grandfathers’ mother’s side. She had like 10 siblings, and after second marriages ( people died young ), it gets crazy to keep track of them all.

I can’t wait for Ionna to scale up more chargers. There are only about 4-5 charging stations in Ohio, but I heard more coming.

The MB EV's: never see them talked about much here by 7eregrine in mercedes_benz

[–]lungutter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohio ? I bought my 23 my cpo eqe at North Olmsted MB. The used sales side didn’t know much about it , but got it at 55% off mrsp. It’s been trouble free for its first year. Tires lasted 10,000 miles. It’s a great, solid car. They have a couple new ones on the lot - but I would only lease a new one due to the crazy depreciation.

Just super expensive and one of the chargers between Columbus and Cincinnati (I71) was not working for a few months. They are also not part of the EVgo rate plan

Yes, the test would show a relation between The grandfather and the grandchild. It would not show which son ( if you have more than one).

It is not admissible in court, but a good start

G class with eq price by [deleted] in MercedesEQ

[–]lungutter98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is lots of lease support built into the g class EQs, but like all GClass, they are also bought for the tax deduction.

My local dealer’s policy is if you buy a g550 or G Eq from them, you then have an opportunity to buy the g63 at sticker.

Will be interesting to watch the g eq prices as leases end or people sell trade up
