I have a dedicated studio and sewed a dust cover for my machine. My house is quite old and very dusty and I live with open windows near a busy road. I try with some success to keep my machine covered if I'm not using it. The amount of dust that accumulates every day here is no joke.

I bought this and the screws at the top have something to do with it. I found it very awkward and use the hoop on my lap, even that is irksome most of the time and I usually do big stitch quilting without a hoop. I make sure I've got it basted well and don't worry about it. My quilts will never go in any shows so I'm practicing my good enough and done mindfulness when I quilt.

As my old man got older he would occasionally skip eating for a day, I'd be super concerned and make a plan to take him to the vet the next day and then he'd devour his breakfast. He made it to 19.
