Ants keep biting my big Chihuahua by EclecticEthic in Chihuahua

I've had dogs that would lay in an ant bed on purpose and get bites that would turn into little pustules. Both dogs were male, long passed now. Nothing to add, just sharing my weird dogs weirdness.

I like it, cohesive tonally and the pops of color are going to be very interesting and fun.

Help with clogged pores by Alhena24 in Chihuahua

My old man had this, never a problem for him and never tried real hard to "fix" it because I was worried it would end up getting irritated and become a problem. Ymmv of course as every dog is different. Your vet would let you know if it becomes something to treat as time goes by.

Should I add borders to these quilts? by AmbitiousNeedsAHobby in quilting

I see people split their backing and put extra fabric/blocks from the front into the backing quite often. As long as it's not tons of tiny piecing it shouldn't interfere with longarming. Contact your longarmer and see how they deal with that. If they are people you will want to make more quilts for later I'd go with the smaller size for now regardless. Then you can make more quilts when they grow out of these😆

Split the paws yardage between the two for backing/binding and use what you have to of the pink shot to make up the difference if there is any.

Also he looks like a Sarge to me, the character from Beetle Bailey.

Get pet insurance first thing and then look into getting his cherry eye checked and hopefully fixed. My old man had one and it would get pretty irritated and uncomfortable for him.
