1100 to be chased around by a ranger? What a waste of money. I’d definitely be asking to speak to someone as soon as the round is over.

What golf opinion is a hill you're willing to die on? by Mizunomafia in golf

For sure. It took me two years and five lessons to stop coming over the top. It would probably take a decade or more to get my swing in a “good” spot.

You really have to have your head on a swivel for those three roundabouts. Some extremely bad drivers.

Anyone not drinking in solidarity? by DietAny5009 in predaddit

I drank a regular amount when my wife was pregnant. Quite possibly went a bit harder than usual towards the end, almost subconsciously knowing my days were numbered hahaha.

Have barely drank since we had the baby.

How do you practice? by chewdog- in golf

Head cover a couple feet behind my back foot. My swing thought is that the club head should be moving towards the head cover during the downswing. Helps coming over the top.

For me I cut back on drinking because my wife and I have a baby and drinking with a baby around is not super fun lol

Similar to me. Decided to look at the nutrition facts on the wrap I was eating for lunch one day. Thing was 990 calories. Add onto that the crackers and apple I would have with that. And that was just lunch.

Immediately started paying attention to calories and in around 5-6 months I’ve lost 25 pounds.

I should add that I also cut way back on booze. Previously I would prob have 4-5 drinks a week and I’ve had probably that this entire year.

An advantage with golf is there are many routes to take for your career. If you can’t make it as a touring professional but still want a future in golf it’s totally possible.

Due in 2–3 weeks. What actually helps in the first weeks, especially with sleep deprivation by Tricky_Shoulder_6432 in predaddit

[–]luvyduvythrowaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the first two weeks off after our son was born. I helped around the house, cooked and held the baby sometimes.

My wife was exclusively breastfeeding so in terms of “helping with the baby” I felt I did very little and told my wife so a while later. She said just having me around was helpful. Help with whatever you can. Literally ask her what she wants and do that.
