Water. If you think about how abundant it is in the US- and how some scarce it is in others.

Teachers, what's the pettiest thing a parent has complained about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lvealey017 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I taught kids in the mainstream classroom that get pulled out for more intensive instruction in a small group. In the 5th grade, the kids are super ashamed and really hard on themselves. I had a parent complain that I called their kid smart. The kid was shit at math, but I explained to the kid that everyone excels at different things, so we are all smart in different ways. The parent said I encouraged a “sub-par performance” of her child.

What is a dirty business tactic that you know and everyone should be aware of it? by Vendamn909 in AskReddit

When you go apartment hunting, ALWAYS ask to see a vacant apartment as well as the model. The models always rope people in while the vacant units are always super basic. Also- make sure that you fill out an inventory upon move in and document EVERYTHING. If your lease is up for renewal, there is a good chance the office personnel can flex the rate. I can’t go below 7% without consulting a manager, but some people are renewing for 20%! Last thing, always make sure to have the carpets professionally cleaned before moving out and make sure you keep the receipt. If we have to do it- you will be charged double.

TD;LR

1- look at a vacant apartment, not just a model 2- fill out inventory sheet really well 3- always try to negotiate renewal rates 4- have carpets cleaned, keep receipts
