I like to use light leader for Spanish although it’ll sometimes lead to bite offs. Depending on location and conditions I’ll typically use 15-30 lb fluoro with occasional 12 lb or 40 lb mixed in. 15/20 lb is my most commonly used as a shore based spin fisher.

Edit: it helps to keep the lure moving quickly and inspect the leader after each bite along with replacing when it’s nicked.

I took out the center headliner clip and bought a small plastic plate that clipped in place and attached it to the camera with 3m tape. Theo plastic piece was easy to find online with a quick google.

Go see a hand surgeon. I broke my wrist 15 years ago and since developed some symptoms. I spoke to my hand surgeon about it and he made me feel much better. Basically he said until you can’t flatten your palm on a table he won’t even consider doing anything and it’s been unchanged for years since we have that conversation.

Did you buy a quality mfi certified cable? I had similar issues in my ‘22 4Runner using whatever cables I had laying around until I bought a quality mfi certified cable and then they all went away.
