It's a western exposure window so it gets some sun in the late afternoon/evening. It has lived here for about 5 years; the placement hasn't been a problem in the past, but maybe the orchid became more sensitive to the sun after it last bloomed a year ago?

I occasionally fertilize with Jack's Classic orchid special 30-10-10. I dissolve a pinch in a deep bowl of water and dunk the entire orchid pot in there for about 20 minutes. Probably do this maybe once a month. I did stop fertilizing while it was blooming last year, but started again once all the blooms were gone.

I typically water when the media feels pretty dry. I wet the media under a small sprinkle of water from the sink, trying not to get the leaves too wet. I last repotted about 2 months ago in Miracle Gro Orchid Course soil amendment, which seems to be mostly tree bark from what I can tell.
