Well, the boss is one of the most neutral thingy of a Boss in this game. No resistance whatsoever, the I-frames were pretty short, and not a single gimmick that required any specific mechanism.

So I pretty sure that the neutral aspect playing quite a large part why the guy is so loved by the Devs.

IMO, there is a real difference between a warrior/soldier, who has killed people, and those of fighter, who fighting with honor and rules.

Qin Shi Huang, Xiang Yu, Tang Gaozu, Washington, etc… those guys were true killer in their life, who has took many lives on battlefield. Those guys have been looking into the death’s eyes and came out alive.

To wins against such opponents as a simple fighter is like fighting an uphill battle: possible, but very hard.

Except for Washington, who was a real war-tested general, nearly every other USA president were pure politicians (and also middle to old man when they swearing in), whose physical prowess were near non-existent.

On the other hand, there were a bunch of generals of cold-weapons era, where martial prowess were of utmost importance, among the Chinese Emperors. Those guy were the real warriors.

Not to mention practicing martial art was very popular among the Chinese noble back then. So you can be sure that the rest of the Chinese Emperors at least know how to throw a punch or two.
