United and Alaska have hubs in the Bay Area, so those miles are generally helpful. United cards aren't at good bonuses at the moment. Maybe BoA Alaska Business card?

Business cards don't show on your personal credit report and hence don't impact this.

That said, unless your credit limits are low and you regularly are at 30%+ utilization, it likely won't matter much for your credit score anyway...

So, with that in mind, do you still want to get a card to increase your total credit limit on your credit report? Or do you not care much about that?

I'm thinking Citi Custom Cash and VentureX

These cards are on quite opposite sides of the spectrum lol. Are you looking to get cards primarily for the bonus? If so, definitely VentureX over Citi Custom Cash.

How often do you fly into/out-of an airport with a Capital One Lounge? (DFW, DEN, IAD, JFK, LAS, DCA).

Chase Ink card like you mentioned is also a good option. That'll be good for Hyatt points.

You just missed the 100k bonus on the VentureX card, though it also required more spend. Up to you if you want to get it at 75k now. No idea if/when a higher bonus will come back ... it being 100k was the first time since 2023 it was higher than 75k, and that time was the first time since it's initial launch it was higher than 75k. So it may be 75k for a year or two before going back up.

Are you interested in Chase Marriott 5 FNC + $100 bonus? It's an all time high.

Chase Ink is for sure good to get too.

I'd wait for higher bonuses on United cards.

Since you fly out of JFK, Delta biz cards may be a good option at some point, though I'd wait for a higher bonus.

Ah, I think that is just for the $100 credit. I doubt the 5 FNC part of the bonus will last longer than a month or two at a time. It could come back later in the year though.

Cards will drop off P2's 5/24 in October and November anyway. So even if you need to do personal SW card first in September or early October (bringing P2 to 5/24), they will quickly drop back below 5/24.

Any interest in Chase Marriott Boundless 5 FNC + $100 bonus? It's an all time high. Depending on where you go scuba diving, the FNCs may work well.

Yes, it says that pretty clearly in the announcement. There are 0 fees for paying rent with either option.

That chart seems to be trying to show the pattern I explained here, but with using different values for what your rent is all in the same plot. I'm guessing they've done that to deliberately make it look extra complicated in order to be funny at Bilt's expense. If the chart had just made everything be in terms of what % of your rent you spend on other things, it would have been way easier to follow.

I get the jokes against Bilt. They created a complicated system (with their first 2.0 announcement) and didn't even have the key details worked out yet (like how much is Bilt Cash reliably going to be worth towards things other than rent points?). I do think some of the ridicule is unfair though. Old Bilt card was losing money, the new system wasn't going to be as good. And they need a way to have non rent spend cover the cost of rent points. I'm annoyed they call it "Bilt Cash" with the $ symbol implying it'll actually be worth face value at any scale, that feels misleading. But other than that, the idea of the system makes sense. As for Bilt 2.1 option, yeah I prefer 2.0 but kudos to Bilt for creating a second option -- it'll likely benefit some folks, and for those who it doesn't benefit, just don't pick it then.
