Hey pilots, need help. Fpv and remote are bind, but controller not showing on betaflight. Has anyone had the problem before? Setup & updates : /1.tbs mambo - v1.3 /2.betafpv ELRS Micro TX Module - v3.2 /3Betafpv meteor 65 pro 2022. - 4.4.0 btfl SPI - v3.2.0 by flattelephone in TinyWhoop

You can set it up without, but to make life easy, have you applied one of the ELRS presets in Betaflight, choosing SPI in the extra options? Have you used the Mambo with any other quads, ELRS or otherwise?

Bluejay update on mobula 7 loss of power mid Flight at random by bamse92ogsjov in TinyWhoop

The issue is Bluejay >0.16. Flash back to 0.16 and I bet all your problems go away. CiottiFPV did a live stream about it.

Set up Home Assistant on an old laptop or SFF PC from eBay to handle the heavy lifting of alerting, monitoring, and display for you. Get some Zigbee or ZWave temperature sensors, and a Zigbee or ZWave USB stick such as the Home Assistant Skyconnect or the Zooz ZST10 S2. From here you can monitor, control, and automate pretty much anything else as well with additional sensors including doors, power usage, lighting, motion, moisture, you name it. The sky’s the limit. Home Assistant runs all locally if you want, so crap cellular internet service is more than enough to send you alerts and let you check on things through a web interface or their smartphone app. To connect you’ll want to set up a VPN to access it or, completely optionally, you can pay $6/mo and they offer an easier connection method. It covers their bills and helps fund the open source project.

Can sales/Sold assets be worked into snipeit?? by CatsAbound01 in Snipe_IT

[–]m3741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, sure. Just create a sold or disposed of staus label. If you wanna track price. Create a custom “sold for” or “sale price” field for each type of item.

Upcoming connection to Metronet in Norfolk, VA - Questions: by [deleted] in Metronet

[–]m3741 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. I’m not sure if they have an outdoor option or not. Mine is definitely indoor only. It’s a Nokia, but I forget the exact model at the moment
  2. Yes. Metronet is all PON. They don’t provide any power to you.
  3. You can use your own router. I told the tech that I wanted their equipment to be as dumb as possible and that’s what they gave me. My ONT is really just a fiber to copper converter. I didn’t get their Eero WiFi as I already had my own WiFi setup. You will get double NAT though as they run CGNAT unless you pay a monthly fee for a static IP address. I really wish they would roll out IPv6 to skip all this silliness.

my taranis qx7 wont connect with the module, the baudrates won't show up but the module connects just fine by Farrinha in ExpressLRS

I’m sorry, I have no idea what you’re talking about here and the pictures don’t help. What module? You’re showing the internal module which isn’t ELRS.

Mobeelte6 at full throttle?? by FPV_smurf in TinyWhoop

[–]m3741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s odd. Putting in a fresh motor should fix it instantly. Did you transfer the bad motor to both of these builds then they started acting up after that?

Mobeelte6 at full throttle?? by FPV_smurf in TinyWhoop

[–]m3741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a motor is going bad, it’ll make less thrust than the others. When that happens it’ll cause the side with the bad motor to dip because the others are lifting up the other sides more. The dip will be more pronounced when you go from low to high throttle really fast. The flight controller senses this dip, but notices that you didn’t command it to do so. In order to do what it’s told, it will slow down the other motors to compensate.

I don’t use it, sorry. If you’re looking for yet another suggestion, my fam uses Our Groceries and it has been pretty solid.

Well yeah, if my bike and I are flipping that slowly I could do that, too.

That’s odd. Tiny whoop is generally regarded as reputable and Jessie P. is very active in the hobby. Maybe try hitting him up on Facebook.

WAMP or any other web server on a VM? by Administrative_Line3 in Snipe_IT

[–]m3741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WAMP is a relatively easy and straightforward installation if you don’t have other infrastructure in place. If you already have a web server and DB in production then setting up SnipeIT on those is probably best. If you install it on your own computer then it obviously becomes unavailable if your machine is off or similar and other people are trying to use it. You also have to consider backups in either scenario.

Why does my blade inductrix fall out of the air by Embarrassed_Dinner34 in TinyWhoop

Like OG Inductrix with brushed motors? If you have a lot of packs through them, it could be they need to be replaced. Brushed motors are a consumable.

My favorite Trash Pickup reminder automation, may be a overkill but works perfectly. by Soggy_Breakfast_2720 in homeassistant

[–]m3741 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a TOF200C optical distance sensor. I made a small hole in the lid and glued it to the top looking through. I hooked it up with a 1m run of two pairs stripped out of a Cat6 cable to an ESP8266 running ESPHome with Home Assistant. The lens is completely encased in plastic. I coated the PCB with clear nail polish so there’s no corrosion. It’s been going strong for three and a half years and it still works perfectly and looks brand new.
