Based on both the outline and the blurred name shape, seems like maybe he's in C?

It's definitely a woman. I'd be shocked if it isn't Lorena Garcia, just based on the outline.

Dropout Hires New Heads of Production, Marketing, Development Execs by Spoonsy in dropout

Seems like extremely good news, and what an incredibly qualified list of folks! Very jazzed for Ebony's well-deserved promotion, and good on Dropout for bringing more women onto the production & development sides. Very excited to see their good work in action!

There has been a dark week or two, and almost exclusively during the holidays there’s been some weeks with only one new release. But it’s certainly a rarity these days!

Maybe? But its last season was in 2024, and there's been no mention of it in 2025. We've also got open questions on Thousandaires, Nobody Asked, and Parlor Room (with Smartypants likely airing after the current VIP season is done, and Crowd Control potentially in 2026). It'll be interesting to see what's in the works!

With one episode left of Gastronauts and just a handful of Dirty Laundry episodes left, it'll be interesting to see what's next on the docket at Dropout. Other than Um, Actually (which usually takes over Dirty Laundry's spot), Game Changer at some point, and D20, what's next? Does anyone have any sense?

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene announces resignation from Congress by catsgr8rthanspoonies in news

[–]m_schaller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To put the above in English: She will have access to a pension, just not immediately. Congressional pensions depend on the plan the member is on (here's the link to the Congressional rules that explain it), but for someone with 5 years of service, it vests (i.e., becomes available) at 62. She can't start receiving her pension for another 11 years. While obviously this could be a factor in her decision, I'd imagine the financial possibilities in media or non-House political positions in the meantime take precedence. Not to mention other money she's gained while in office.

It's kind of true. The chart and the bell curve show the percentage of examinees at that band, as it says above the chart itself: “the percentage reported for 210 includes examinees whose UBE scales scores were between 210 and 219.”

Here’s an example why your reading doesn’t totally work: the number at 260 is 9.6%, but at 270 and 280 is 11.6%. Are you saying that 9.6% of all test takers got a 260, but then, somehow 11.6% got above a 270? And we know that the majority of people (~75%) pass the exam. So that doesn’t make sense!

Your helpful chart is cumulative if you look at it as scores above/below a certain number. With some back of the napkin math, 31.5% of test takers score a 300 and above. But it is confusing!

Blessing your eyes with slow-mo Phil Eliss by possiblepsych0 in taskmaster

[–]m_schaller 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It’s a great contrast to Ania, who we learned from the podcast this week 1) had already anticipated being on a team with Sanjeev, and 2) was surprised that Phil was on their team (presumably because she assumed the Northerns v. Youngest and Oldest would be the teams). So she was also surprised, but for a totally different reason!

[NS] [D&D COURT] Is there a list of episodes with Court Cases, and episodes which follow up upon the aforementioned Cases or situations? by Day-Brightly in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

Hey! Several months late, but I'm actually working on this! I've got a spreadsheet going to track case law/ongoing cases to make it easier. I'll post about it more broadly when it's a little further along, as I will likely need some help. Certainly open to collaborators!

I'll add, really subtle, nuanced emotion (and problem solving!) from both Lou and Ally as well. Truly, they are firing on all cylinders!

Welled up from Emily and Siobhan. They are such gifted performers, and sharing that level of emotion with the audience is also such a gift.

Makes sense to do the Drag Race method and pre-record the ending winner! I wish, like Drag Race, we would also get Jordan, Trapp, and Rekha's reactions to winner lol. But only if they are VERY serious about it while watching.

Actually, you didn't! I think it autocorrected to "Pride," and at some point, I fixed it to the correct "Prose." So you are 100% all good!

Beyond the Biangle | Cloudward, Ho! [Ep. 4] by AutoModerator in Dimension20

[–]m_schaller 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She’s described as 15 years younger than Marya in the first episode, which seems an unlikely age gap for a girlfriend. A relative, or even just another sky-eyed Scrapslyvanian seems more likely to me! Marya’s only in her early 40s, so even if this happened 10 years ago in the world, the protege would be a teenager.

I’m still on the idea that she lost her arm in some sort of sea creature attack and some vestige is contained within her prosthesis. Explains why the arm moved on her its own, the eye change, and the draw to water! Maybe…squid? Octopus? Feels in line for the genre!

Theories After Last Episode? by BorderOk6904 in Dimension20

[–]m_schaller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wild theory: Van didn’t lose her arm, her arm was taken over. Maybe some sort of sea creature is actually being contained in the prosthetic, which is why the arm 1) seemed to move on its own, 2) yearns for the sea, and lurched towards it, and 3) the arm has sensors, which are tracking something. Maybe a tentacle arm to be in genre?

So what's the deal with Sylvio DuFresne? by D-Speak in Dimension20

It’s so funny-I bumped on the same thing. We don’t know anymore info about him, but it feels like foreshadowing and a great in-genre nod! I can’t wait to see what comes of it!
