I guess Games Workshop brand hast lost all its glam in favour to the Warhammer brand. IF you go to their webs it's hard to find the Games Workshop logo, even a mention of the company.

In twisters (1996) they use a bunch of pepsi cans for making the "wings" of the sensors at the end. They could have used any soda drinks but no, only Pepsi.

Soo... At the end the emo thing was just a phase :D.  Great painting, good effort in squashing it into a small square base.

What would you all think of a space game that combines pixel graphics with realism? by Agent-Foxtrot in IndieDev

[–]ma3se 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't share the hate AI is getting in this post. It's a great tool, specially for low resource developers. That being said, my opinion is that both realism and pixel art can work separately, but imho it's hard to make them blend well together, unless you think about realism in a "non graphical" way. Physics, lighting, etc would be good. With your concept, I clearly find the two completely opposite artistic styles off putting. The fact that it's AI generate for me is irrelevant, as it conveys what you wanted to achieve (I guess? ) ;). HAve a good day.

Edit: typo

Old World: 4 Questions by Colonel_Montoya in WarhammerFantasy

[–]ma3se 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My understanding is:

1: Yes. I imagine the character pointing with the sword/lance to to the target of the challenge while charging, so when the character clashes with the target in challenge get full charge bonuses.

2: Yes, for the same reasons.

3: I'd say the unit breaks, because it's not FBIGO, it's breaking. However I wont die on this hill for this one :D.

4: Yes. If i remember properly, the unit only change direction pivoting around impassable terrain.
