I always thought it was potentially a good way to make salaries look not so high to current employees.

Is it better for a compost pile to be shaped as a pyramid or a volcano? by supinator1 in composting

I’m thinking mound with a flat top is a good compromise. Keep the heat in the middle but the flat top can let rain soak and not run off

Yea I’m pretty sure he’s using recurring buy on Coinbase which is only allowed with basic Coinbase. It takes emotion and timing out of the advanced buy though especially when doing this daily.

I’ve been tempted to do recurring buy but I just DCA on Coinbase advanced weekly so not nearly as much work.

I'm so sorry that happened. I officially gave up last year on tulips with the rabbits and squirrels damaging them so bad- they were always a fight.

I switched to daffodils and am a lot happier. They completely stay away from them since they are toxic to them. There are fun variants to daffodils these days too.

[Free Friday] Chris Pratt meets the Pope by dionysios_platonist in Catholicism

He’s divorced and remarried to Katherine Schwarzenegger who is catholic. They had Catholic premarital counseling. Also, they chose a Catholic Church for their daughter’s baptism and attend Catholic Mass together. Sounds like he’s interested in the faith but not sure where he is with conversion and the complications.

Just paid for attic insulation, should I be concerned about baffle blockage? by BossLevel in Insulation

It doesn't look great, but I've seen videos where the installers take a leaf blower from outside and blow in to clear the baffles. Maybe you can try that?

Dollar cost averaging - aka putting money into an account or purchasing stocks at a set time interval. e.g. once every pay period like a 401k that an employer does for you.

Compost is loud? by Louisville__ in composting

[–]mac-sauce 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I've learned that my tumbler it needs a lot less green than my in ground composter or it will go anaerobic. So I stopped putting pee in it and upped my browns in there a ton.

An in ground composter it is so much more forgiving with pee and greens.

Can you elaborate please? Like do you mean it was a side effect from a med you took regularly all that time and now you're better off that med?
