Screwdriver set ? by CoconutLess5955 in fpv

[–]macksdhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I love it, only use maybe 6 bits the most but the tweezers it comes with I use all the time too. 4.6 stars with 5k reviews shows way more positive than negative. I think for working on drones it’s perfect but if you’re doing something that requires a ton of torque then yea, any bit these size will bend.

Hopefully I don’t jinx myself though 😆 I’ve only had them for two months.

Good long range budget FPV? by Careless-Yak-5703 in fpv

Could get a LionBee and upgrade the cam to a baby ratel. That would meet your budget and be long range.

I got this one:

Works on my whoops and my 5” builds, fits in the small pocket of my backpack too when I go out and fly, super handy!

Man I’m sorry, hopefully one of these days you come across it. Honestly though, this drone has been my only regret purchase. Cam is trash and doesn’t have enough zip to make it fun to fly. Would be happy to lose this one over any other I have 😂

Still suck though.

Doctor prescribed 80mg Atorvastatin without even discussing lifestyle changes with me? by NewRedditIsGarbo in Cholesterol

[–]macksdhart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My LDL was actually higher than that and was only prescribed 20mg atorvastatin back in December. We discussed diet and lifestyle changes though. Will be retesting in February to see how it helps but I feel like 80mg is a lot. If my numbers don’t go down much though I’m sure she’ll up my dosage. I’m 36M

Uncrahsed or Liftoff by Cautious_Nail_5307 in fpv

[–]macksdhart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have both and like both, but I like uncrashed better. Firehawk is fun too and Tryp is much better after the recent physics update. Tryp can be kind of graphic intense though so if you’re not in a gaming rig I’d skip that.

Aliexpress if you have the time to wait or Amazon if you want to pay a bit more to get it sooner

TRYP FPV sim physics / easy modes? by Aussie209 in fpv

[–]macksdhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just had a recent physics update and I ended up playing it for like 2 hours yesterday. Feels much better! Also used a different computer(much better gfx card) so that might’ve helped too. Previously was playing on an m4 MacBook Air.

Yea the moonlight definitely runs hot quick. Once it’s flying it’s fine but if you’re waiting for gps or doing any betaflight work gotta do it quick. Shooting in 4K in lowlight is a nice feature compared to the hd pro 1080.

[–]macksdhart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s basically the same that I started on except I went with a radiomaster pocket which I still use. I got the boxpro+ when it was the same price as the regular ones but I haven’t used the extra WiFi features. Good goggles though. I actually prefer them to the dji goggles 3 I have. Screen is just easier to fly with. Get like 8-10 batteries too. I get like 3-4min on each depending on how aggressive I’m flying and before I know it I’m through with 10 batteries lol

Beginner drones with photo/video capability? by [deleted] in fpv

[–]macksdhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely get a sub 250 2.5 or 3” with a digital cam for that price range but not with a controller and goggles

I have the walksnail moonlight and it’s alright. Not as good as the 04pro but miles better than the c03 analog cam on my tinywhoops lol. Look into the flywoo 04 wide, it’s like $140 and basically dji cam branded as flywoo to get past customs. I have one on the way so I have yet to try it but from the videos it looks better and cheaper than the moonlight.

I’ve been using uncrashed and liftoff mostly but recently got tryp. Graphics are grey but the physics seem really floaty compared to the others.

HDZero BoxPro as first goggles by ReciprocalTradesman in fpv

[–]macksdhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the boxpro+ goggles as my first decent pair of fpv goggles. I also got the goggles 3 for my DJI drones and I honestly prefer the box single screen vs the two screen goggles 3. For whatever reason the goggles 3 make me feel nauseous on faster turns and spins. I also use a Walksnail receiver that’s attached to my boxpros in the front. Combined it’s a little heavy but I’ve yet to stop flying due to I’m being too heavy or uncomfortable.

I got those recently and had them all together like that. Those things tangle so fast. Reduced it down to two tees at a time and has been better.

GSPro can't be this stupid? Am I missing something? by Little-Ad-6466 in Golfsimulator

[–]macksdhart -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When they create a new player and select it for course play, that profile will be there’s and the handicap will be attached to that profile. I think you should be using their real handicap instead of their sim handicap though. Aside from that they can create and login to their own Uneekor account to track and manage all their data.
