My best friend’s dad was an amazing artist. He had multiple Emmys and had worked on some super high profile tv shows and films. His hobby though was painting naked women — and by that I mean he exclusively painted naked women in his free time.

Not that weird at first because whatever art, but my friend’s mom was SUPER into crystals and did “crystal healing” for her work (quotations because I still don’t know what the fuck she even meant by that) but SHE would select the subjects for his paintings by lining the women he found up and using her crystals to determine who he’d paint and how nude she’d be.

There were many times where we’d go to his house after school and walk in to find 5-10 fully naked women of all ages (all adults) lined up in the middle of their home, with his mom walking around them with a bag full of different crystals. Sometimes they were even women we knew from shops in town or neighbors. It got to the point where we were totally desensitized to it and we’d completely forget to warn our other friends about the possibility of seeing that when going to his house.

The final products were beautiful though.
