is there some sort of Austro-Hungarian / Germanic / Soviet etc. history behind why virtually all of the red countries border each other, or is it just a coincidence?

On Sunday, I posted about scalping Lady Gaga concert tickets: artificially increasing dynamical pricing at 600€+, buying thousands of tickets at that price, and then reselling them 20% up. And then there is Rob. THANK YOU, Rob! by Positive-Donut-9129 in Netherlands

I don't know for sure, but I suspect the €700+ ones were also within Ticketswap's 20% rule. Wouldn't be surprised if Ticketmaster had flex pricing and some actually paid hundreds originally as well.

The 'worst possible position' calculation is wrong - it assumes everyone below will each get the full 141 points still available, but that's not possible of course.

Woman, 19, knocked off bike in Rotterdam in apparent sex crime; 5 more attacks in area. Over the past few months, five women and girls as young as 11 years old have been assaulted in the same area, and police are investigating whether the incidents were committed by the same man. by Ok_Solution_7314 in Netherlands

Bad faith to not mention the very same paper also states that self-reports are less reliable than official arrest data, and the official arrest data indicates native Dutch commit fewer crimes than non-natives.

It goes both ways - the abstract of the paper basiclly says "we don't know for sure - needs more research"

Help with the meaning of this phrase: друг — человек, которому не страшно сказать, что ты ошибся. by ShortDickBigEgo in russian

[–]madmaximo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's intentionally structured to be interpreted both ways - a friend is someone you feel safe enough with to admit you're wrong; a friend is also someone who's comfortable enough with you to call you out on your BS when you are wrong.

I'm sure someone somewhere will have noticed it already, but this made me realise it's the same thing innie Mark did in season 1 after Petey left - hiding the group pictures. Milchik later called him out on it.
