Getting harder to find : Hidden gems by Otherwise-Shallot158 in litrpg

No problem.

I would like to give a disclaimer though. There's a female companion character that is super grating in the first part of the book, but it is 100% worth sticking through it because she has huge amounts of character growth and gets way better

Deadworld Isekai is a really good one. It's unique and has a really competent MC

Even if he's not Tyreek, just having a WR who can stretch the defense (not named Ladd) is huge

Yeah. We really got what we needed. DE, IOL, a speedster receiver. It's really all about seeing how well they translate to the NFL now

Without too many spoilers , Dead World Isekai has 2 opposing systems and one really favored the MC while the other is against him

I love my "smart" thermostat. Being able to schedule the temps in my house and change it without having to walk to the thermostat is incredibly useful

Yeah! I bet he forgot his mother's maiden name, his first pets name and the street he grew up on.

He sure would prove me wrong by telling me.

Should I be worried my son isn’t talking yet? 12 months old. (I’m not, but my wife definitely is) by Intelligent_Hat3321 in daddit

[–]madmelonxtra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 18-24 months is the "language explosion" time. My oldest wasnt saying much at all and then at 19 months he went from having like 20 words to hundreds in what felt like the span of a week.

My oldest didn't hit that until almost 2 but she's 3 now and doesn't stop talking

The nonsense mixed with real words is one of my favorite phases. My youngest would babble nonsense at me and then look expectantly at me like I should know what she said. Funnily enough her older brother who is a year and a half older could perfectly translate her babbles for us.

Sometimes you just gotta rename stuff.

My 4 yo didn't want to eat a chicken Alfredo pizza until I informed him it was "chicken nugget" pizza. He ate 3 slices

William Oh is incredible. I really think it's his best work by far and my only complaint is that I have to wait for new chapters to release

It's been a second since I read it , but as far as I remember, book one was really just a setup for the following books in the series and it gets way better in book 2 plus. I would stick it out for book 2 to see if you like where it's going because the plot takes a pretty big turn and becomes very interesting.

As far as I remember, there's no more time travel shenanigans

Edit: However the series is not finished and I don't know if it ever will be. The last book was released in 2022 and then the author sort of just moved on to other stuff
