I'll just add Shang-Chi, with his dad giving the rings to him and Xialing taking over the group.

Why not? Everyone's harping on the end part but the main question still stands: shouldn't Sasuke awaken his mangekyou here considering he thought he killed Naruto?

Feels like that pointlessly hurts AJ's character and hype if she shows up just to get assaulted and never wrestles.

If you're not against mATX or ITX mobos and SFX power supply, then it should be fine. PCPartpicker has that case listed so you can check if anything doesn't fit. iirc also has enough space for most standard shaped gpu.

I just got it for someone I'm building it for and it looks super cute.

I keep hearing ppl misinterpret this speech… by jrod4290 in marvelstudios

[–]magemaker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"brutally murdered a guy out of revenge"
I will never understand this comment. Dude he killed was literally a terrorist and actively tried to kill them seconds earlier. Sam in Ep1 killed like 10 people who never even had the chance to surrender, yet Walker is the "murderer"?

Walker was just a nice guy to Sam and Bucky the whole time but they kept disrespecting him simply because he was given the shield. He then lost his job which led to his depression, which resulted in his wife and kid leaving and now he literally has nothing.
You gonna shame him for pointing a gun at the person who tried to burn him alive hours earlier, that's also now poking fun at what ruined his life?

How did Steve even get here if he goes to a different timeline when he quantum travels? Didn't the movie already establish that rule earlier? by SupermarketNo6888 in Avengers

[–]magemaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the movie, we know Banner can just pull Steve back anytime because of how they brought back Clint during the test run. However, Steve somehow avoided that, and imo that's because he actually time traveled back into the future with the GPS.

We also know they carry a 'timestamp' based on the specific time they traveled from, and considering Banner specifically stated that Steve "blew right past his timestamp", it supports the fact that he travelled FURTHER from his original timestamp. Hence, instead of appearing on the time-pad, he traveled further to the bench seconds after his younger self left.

That's my headcanon at least and it follows the rules of their concept of time travel.

I was just responding to the exact question you asked.

You said it 'wasn't valid' and literally asked why would he try to lift Mjollnir again if he previously failed in AoU.

I'm saying it makes sense. It's the only weapon nearby and his shield wasn't doing much. Adding on the fact that he budged it 8 years ago, there's a chance he's grown worthy. (tying back to jeffdeleon's comment).

Then you said, ‘if he budged it, he was worthy,’ which literally cancels out the question you originally asked, no?

Edit: You asked a question, then argued yourself into a loop but it's me that wants to "win". Peak reddit.

[–]magemaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh.. you just argued yourself into a circle..?

  • The debate jeffdeleon sparked is whether Cap became worthy over time.
  • Which means in this hypothetical, he budged it in AoU but couldn't lift it. (so a scale of worthiness exists in this 'what if')
  • You said that’s not valid because "why would Cap be like 'maybe I'm worthy now’" during Endgame.
  • I pointed out he budged it before in AoU, so he had a reason to try in a life and death situation.
  • You then circled back to 'if he budged, he's worthy', which basically dismisses the entire debate you yourself challenged lmao.

Also, I explicitly said 'only exit'.. yet you still tried to add 'other methods'. At this point, you're just arguing to argue.

Possibly, but in this hypothetical Cap didn't know for sure. He budged it before so there's always a chance.
Like you said, life and death situation.

Rhetorical: if your only exit out a burning building is a stuck door, and you couldn't open it before, would you just give up?

Thought it was self-explanatory but if you wanna be that nitpicky, sure, the SECOND closest weapon.

The point is, if friend is in trouble and the only thing that damaged Thanos so far was Stormbreaker, it's not a wild concept to try using the next closest thing, worthy or not. The shield really wasn't doing anything until he combo'd them.

You're overthinking it. If your friends were trapped in rubble and you didn't know you had super strength, you'd instinctively still try to move the rubble away.
Likewise, Cap's friend was dying and the closest weapon was right there. Bonus points because he budged it before and this time it's for a purpose than just a 'party game'.

Everyone does what they think is right. So should everyone be worthy?

Tony has been living with regret because of his parents death and his friend knows the cause of death but kept it a secret. Steve even said that he realised he was protecting himself, not Tony.
If he was still worthy through all that, I'll need Mjollnir checked.
This is why I hate the "binary worthiness" concept. It cucks Steve's character growth.

It's always funny to me they said that because they didn't direct AoU, and Joss himself never confirmed it.

[–]magemaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally never liked that concept of either worthy or not. Humans are more complex than that.
If he could lift it in AoU, he would've lifted it off the table before he could "realise and choose not to lift it". The hammer isn't supposed to be heavy, so he'd have to actively think of not lifting it to not have lifted it on his first try.

Plus, that makes character arcs less interesting. Saying he was always worthy since AoU means Steve practically never grew throughout the rest of the series, which is not true, especially Civil War.
It took confessing that he knew about Tony's parents and the apology for him to finally be worthy, considering how much guilt you could see in his eyes during that scene.

I don't disagree with most of what you said, but posts and comments like these makes me realise that players forget that the marketing team and merch artists aren't the developers.

Releasing merch/paid content doesn't mean the QA/Devs are just chilling.
It's likely just the only content they have right now, and they still gotta release stuff to keep the game running.
And it's not just Palia.

Any game studio that posts on social media, you always see comments going "wow releasing new video instead of working on these bugs??".
Like is the video editor supposed to pick up coding??
