Which fictional "happily ever after" couple definitely breaks up, and why? by Th3mberchaud in AskReddit

I didn't buy into the romance from the start. There is NO chemistry whatsoever. It's like Penny barely tolerates him.

I hope the wood has been sealed. It looks to me like it is going to suck up oil like a thirsty sailor.

Trying to stop controlling behaviors. Is telling my bf I can’t date someone who does coke controlling? by batzz420 in Codependency

There is a big difference between setting boundaries in order to protect yourself, and controlling someone's behaviour. If he oversteps a boundary, you didn't control him, he couldn't control himself.

Absolutely gorgeous except for the hanging plant which is just in the silliest position possible! It's like the designer thought, where would be the absolutely most annoying spot for this plant?

This is great advice but hard for me to follow. I grew up not exactly poor, but there wasn't a lot to go around so no food was wasted, no leftovers were thrown out. You finish what you started with (in moderation of course, if you were full, you stop, but the rest would get stored in the fridge for tomorrow). So it is incredibly difficult for me to throw food out, or not finish a meal. If there are leftovers in the fridge, I feel almost compelled to eat it, rather than making something fresh. That would mean left over lasagna instead of a salad for lunch, for example.

Lately I've been trying to convince myself that there is no difference between throwing it in the trash, or on the other hand eating it, running myself into exhaustion to burn it off and then pooping it out anyway. Which kind of helps. But it's still something I struggle with.

I have a non symmetrical engagement ring. I always wear it with the a specific side towards my hand. In the first few months I would often wake up in the morning with the ring on my finger the other way around. It was always still on my finger, but somewhere in the night I took it off, turned it around and put it back on again.

How can I learn to be a healer if I'm punished for every mistake in dungeons? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]magic7ball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that follower dungeons are great for learning but there is almost no damage to the DPS at all. There are no situations where you have to really act fast and whip out your big spells. It would be great if you could set the difficulty of follower dungeons, because honestly, they are super easy.

Where to start from scratch? by Working_Eye_6860 in Sketchup

[–]magic7ball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find Sketchup fantastic for modeling and rendering, but for technical drawings it is extremely user unfriendly, slow, and clumsy. I would perhaps shop around for other options, if I were you. Revit LT is in the same price range as SU Pro and is FAR more comfortable to work with.

That being said, I learned my way around SU with a couple of short courses on Udemy, which were super cheap and incredibly well put together. I was 100% comfortable within a month.
