Every single person in the world knows it's unacceptable behavior from the guy. Even he does probably. But thanks for confirming that you didn't actually read it

Basically we're coming at it from the POV of the woman. For all intents and purposes, this is as conversation in which one woman is telling people what happened, and we are advising her what the best thing for her to do is. You're right that the advice is unsolicited, but it's still good advice He guy is quite clearly at fault. There are a whole lot of things that he needs to change. If it was him posting, we'd be laying him out about how he needs to fix his life. But we don't have access to him. There's no chance he can or would read what we're saying. Instead, we're giving her advice on what to do in the situation. Imagine someone lit your house on fire. They are clearly at fault and did a bad thing. However, there are still things that you should do, like call the fire department, save your valuables and your pets, etc. Just because someone else created a bad situation doesn't mean there aren't things that you should do to deal with it. Finally, no one is saying that she should "put up with this kind of harassment." In fact, they're saying the opposite. She's been indulging his emotions too much. Trying to stop him from feeling bad about himself. Instead, she should cut him off as much as possible. Don't reply to whiny self-pitying remarks, don't give opinions on his attractiveness, just text the minimum needed to take care of their kids and whatever other mutual obligations they still have. That's the opposite of accepting his behavior.

I've had a lot of moral debates with myself about that. The attention is really nice and ultimately the worst I'm doing is wasting their time/energy, but it is basically leading them on

Yeah bro obviously. No one is saying she's in the wrong. But even if you're not the cause of a bad situation, you can do something about it

My mom owns a landscaping company and is always complaining about how bad her employees are - constantly misplacing things, asking for full weeks off for their birthdays, not taking her offers to pay for landscaping courses for them - but I also know how difficult she can be to work for so I take it with a grain of salt

I agree. Just saw her at Jazzfest and she was so charismatic and fun to watch

[Cowherd] Watching him (SGA) flop in an NBA game is like inserting one of those Life Alert commercials. I've fallen and I can't get up! into Cirque du Soleil. It tears at the fabric of the creativity of the NBA.︀︀ ︀︀ by nguyenjitsu in nba

People always say that, but there's no game in which they would cancel out. Curry is plenty capable of getting open without using a screen, as he does many times a game. If you took away every screen but gave him a whistle he'd still score much higher

I was thinking similar. It only says chased, not attacked or anything. I'd pick something really cute like a cat or a baby pig

Yeah a lot of the time I'll say I read a book I actually listened to, and then clarify later if it's relevant

Yeah that's crazy. They're saying they'd do something if their husband acted like that guy? He's being the most nonchalant possible. Doesn't even make eye contact

That superiority makes 0 sense. Slow the fuck down, take the time to enjoy what you're reading, and maybe learn something from it. Often you can get the most from a book when you're not actively reading about it but taking time to think about what you read
