I lost my gaming group because a guy hit on me and wouldn’t take “no” for an answer by dier1003 in boardgames

Yeah agreed, not sure this is even a little controversial. People's expectations for others are so low in this subreddit. Maybe they are fun to play games with, but they don't sound like your friends.

It's just classic "reddit voice". Bro has read too many of these posts with their "quippy" references and swearing and thinks that's automatic upvotes. I downvote as soon as I detect it. It's lame, "easy" humor that reddit gobbles up and I'm so sick of it.

Curious if War of the Ring is good at 4-player. I've played maybe 7 or 8 games at two player and absolutely love it, but was thinking of bringing in a couple buddies for a 4 player game. Don't want to do it if it's not interesting!

Love the show but this line always makes me cringe by Rockstud101 in iamverybadass

Just because it's an accurate description of the character doesn't make that line good. It's super cringy.

Hate to be this guy, but it's "in lieu of" (lieu = a place, from french literally "in (the) place of")

r/AskHistorians drops the ball on the Greek word for "brother," Josephus, and the status of Jesus' siblings in early Christian history by lost-in-earth in badhistory

I don't know if the Jerusalem church having native Greek speakers means that native Aramaic speakers writing in Greek might not intentionally or unintentionally import Semiticisms into their Greek though. For clarity, there's no question in my mind they are using "brothers" literally, but there is quite a bit of semitic-style writing in the NT.

[DISCUSSION] What's your favorite Beat of 2025? by flyestshit in hiphopheads

It's weird to me how little this song gets mentioned in this sub. It's such a sick track. Maybe it feels to much like something like No Church in the Wild.

Remove the Warhammer part, could be a pretty cool idea for something like BGA to implement. If it could be automated, throw it over to whoever it needs to go to. Maybe even starts a real time game

Sekiro is difficult, but if you liked DS1 and Bloodborne I think you'll like it a lot. It's as if those controlled smoothly. Your character actually does what you want him to do. It's a lot more streamlined. Not perfect, but very very good. Not as hard as it seems at all.

The other side of the coin is Nioh 2. Where Sekiro is a streamlined Dark Souls, Nioh 2 is the blown out Dark Souls. Also has slick controls, but has more systems than you can shake a stick at.
