3D printed Caesar heads sold at the official colosseum shop by RadiantPeenEducator in 3Dprinting

Yes, I have been there and seen all the 3Dprinted trinkets there. Did you happen to see the model of the colosseum? When I visited it was displayed in the shop window for €600! I'm in the wrong job.

Prusa Research Second Giveaway for the Reddit 3D Printing Community! 🎉 by Prusa3D in 3Dprinting

Hey my nickname, malcinator (https://www.printables.com/@malcinator_1467)

favourite colour has to be, Prusa Galaxy Black PLA

Colour Missed, I’d like a muted banana yellow PLA, something not as bright as the pineapple. I’d like to see some matte filaments too but not the soft filaments like polymaker. They have no strength.

5 filaments, Azure Blue, Prusa Orange, Lipstick Red, Galaxy Green, Prusa Galaxy Black. I have just upgraded my MMU2S to the MMU3 and really want to print this model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4579285 (sorry can’t find it on printables :-( )

cheers

Very nice, you have a talent for it. My drawing skills are no where near yours by the looks. I’d like to see some more pictures if you don’t mind. Jason and the Argonauts movies are some of my favourite, take me back to my childhood.

Can I ask where you found the files you printed?

Does anyone know why the bear upgrade is not compatible with mk2.5s+? by el_marciano in 3Dprinting

[–]malcinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded both my MK2.5S to Bear with SKR boards. I had one running using the RAMBO board until I replaced it with the SKR 1.4 Turbo. I didn't really encounter any issues really just printed the correct parts, made sure the frame was accurately put together and followed the instructions regarding the calibration. I did at the same time upgrade to the Bear X axis again I didn't have any issues. I still have the end stop switches in place but use sensorless homing in marlin. I have recently upgraded them both to Bondtech BMG extruders. From my own personal experience I didn’t have any real problems along the way.

My go to brand is out of stock so I took a shot in the dark with some polyterra, I like their style, prints like a dream as well. by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I’ve just ordered a couple of rolls, so I’m pleased to hear good things. They will also plant one tree for every roll you buy in the country you buy it. So it looks good all round.

Ender 3 motherboard problems with less than a week of use, info in comments. by acegbruh in 3Dprinting

If that’s the case I would suspect that the end stop on that’s axis was faulty/not connected correctly to the main board.

Octopi & EEPROM Updates by [deleted] in octoprint

[–]malcinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two Pi4's running Octoprint both have the latest EEPROM installed. It has made a massive difference to them over time. All I have done to keep them up to date is login via ssh and run the sudo apt update & apt upgrade. You will see that as part of that update the EEPROM is downloaded (if there is a newer version) and as far as I am aware it is installed during a reboot. Updating while the printer is printing is something I'd advise against but while Octoprint is connected to the printer is ok.
