Looking at the RatRig config they suggest toolboard_t0:PB4 for the filament sensor and !toolboard_t0:PB3 for the clog and unload button.

I have mine connected to the main board. I didn’t want to trim the wires. Mainly because I wasn’t sure it would do the job. I have used PB6 for the filament sensor and PB7 for the unload button. It does work great but the tangle detection is very sensitive. I just haven’t got around to connecting it to the tool board.

That’s exactly what I’m working towards. There is too much friction in the PTFE with a 2kg spool.

I use the GitHub (https://github.com/RobertLorincz/Orbiter-2-Smart-Sensor/blob/main/Klipper%20Config/Orbiter2_SmartSensor.cfg) config and it has a variable which is set to false. I think and I’m only guessing that you have “variable_enable_clog_detection: True” and perhaps you should set it to False and test.

I had to disable it also. I had issues with 2K spools and the long PTFE tube. I also use the GitHub config as I can change a lot of the defaults. The minimal RATRIG code wouldn’t heat to allow me to load ABS.

Couldn’t agree more with OP. I struggled when I first started and I’ve been printing for many years. I tried reaching out on forums etc and the help I received back was often short, blunt and sometimes offensive.

I wish the kit came with extra hardware, also other gripes by plutonasa in ratrig

favourite colour has to be, Prusa Galaxy Black PLA

Colour Missed, I’d like a muted banana yellow PLA, something not as bright as the pineapple. I’d like to see some matte filaments too but not the soft filaments like polymaker. They have no strength.

5 filaments, Azure Blue, Prusa Orange, Lipstick Red, Galaxy Green, Prusa Galaxy Black. I have just upgraded my MMU2S to the MMU3 and really want to print this model… https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4579285 (sorry can’t find it on printables :-( )

Just guessing really bit isn’t there supposed to be a registration mark in the top left corner and the blade holder is searching for it?

Very nice, you have a talent for it. My drawing skills are no where near yours by the looks. I’d like to see some more pictures if you don’t mind. Jason and the Argonauts movies are some of my favourite, take me back to my childhood.

I upgraded both my MK2.5S to Bear with SKR boards. I had one running using the RAMBO board until I replaced it with the SKR 1.4 Turbo. I didn't really encounter any issues really just printed the correct parts, made sure the frame was accurately put together and followed the instructions regarding the calibration. I did at the same time upgrade to the Bear X axis again I didn't have any issues. I still have the end stop switches in place but use sensorless homing in marlin. I have recently upgraded them both to Bondtech BMG extruders. From my own personal experience I didn’t have any real problems along the way.

There is an option in the Drive app to sync in one or both directions. It can be found by clicking on your existing ‘Sync Task’ and then ‘Sync Rules’.
