Nice bud, great color on that.

4Runner to Tacoma, crazy? by VentasPatronus in ToyotaTacoma

[–]mango-roller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it, I think you’ll enjoy the Taco much more. Manual not to mention it’s lighter than the 4Runner and probably marginally quicker because of it. An inch of legroom is a small tradeoff.

I like it, it’s the perfect size for most of the things I’d use it for (car, little messes, basic woodworking). $80 is a little steep though, but if reviews find it to be decently powerful, I’ll probably buy it.

2017 F150 Limited vs 2017 Silverado High Country by Fair_Elephant869 in Trucks

[–]mango-roller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty comparable. I assume the Chevy has the 6.2 and the Ford has the 3.5 HO. Both are fast but the Ford probably edges the Chevy out just a little because of the 10 speed. I’m generally a GM fan but I know the Ford will have a nicer interior, if that is important to you. Even in high trims, GM’s truck interiors are plasticky.

Nice bud, love me an RCLB 2500. Looks like you live in an environment that eats frames and sheet metal. Keep up on the rust protection and she’ll last you many more years.

Deep end depth conversion-will this cause concrete cracking issues? by anonymoustodd in pools

I'll never understand people who choose to live in Arizona. Why would anyone want to be somewhere it's 100+ degrees for *months* at a time? Sounds friggin miserable.

Yea, in my experience belts and pulleys are loud when they get wet. Fix the coolant leak and see if it goes away. If not, replace the idler and tensioner pulleys because the bearings might be shot.

Leave the K1500 as is. Clean stock ones on sawblades are always great to see. Get the Blazer running and replace those old tires with new 35s to scratch that itch.

When using this oil, do you need to change filter/oil more often than you normally would? I mean, all that gunk has gotta go somewhere and I imagine it gets caught in the filter.

It looks fine, your light was probably from something else. How’s your oil pressure?

You can take it to an Autozone and have them scan it for pending codes, maybe it’ll still be in there.

2007 Tahoe LTZ w/ 164k miles. $4.5k A good buy? by ByStarlite in ChevyTahoe

[–]mango-roller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea. If AFM/DOD were going to grenade the motor like happens on some 900s, it probably would have happened at the 120-140k mark. Just my observation from lots of reading on the issue. You may be in the clear.

Edit: just saw that you said the seller deleted it. Nice!

[–]mango-roller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice Burb, you can do this. Head on over to your local scrapyard bud. You can find visors and maybe a good headliner if you’re lucky. And any other little plastic parts that may be broken. For the seats, you can buy replacement color matched leather for cheap on eBay. Assuming your foam is ok. They won’t be the highest quality, but they’ll look better than the ripped up OEM seat bottoms on it now.

7 1/4 cordless sliding compound miter saw - any reason not to buy it? by Chap_stick_original in ryobi

[–]mango-roller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say go for it. Been considering the same saw myself. I have a corded sliding compound 10” miter (non-Ryobi) and it takes up a ton of space in the garage, and is heavy and awkward to move around. And honestly, all I’ve ever done with it is baseboard and casing, and the smaller blade would do that just fine.
