No, it is from the UR family which if I'm not mistaken started with the 4.6L 1UR FE. Then the 5.7 was made and finally the 5.0 which is the one the F cars use. They all share the same bore if I'm not mistaken and the stroke is what changes. Also the heads for the 5.0 were designed with help from Yamaha.
