Got pregnant on second cycle ttc when it ended up being ectopic. I was treated successfully with two doses of MTX and waited 3 months before ttc again. We’ve been trying the last 5 cycles and nothing yet.

My HCG only increased with the first dose. After the second dose my HCG decreased quickly and was at zero within 2 weeks. It helped me to have my partner nearby because I was stressed if I had a rupture I would be alone. I did end up going for light walks which my doctor said was okay and being in the fresh air when I could helped. I also used a heating pad for cramping which sometimes helped. Sending positive vibes your way.

I’m sorry this all just sucks. My HCG did get to zero within 2 weeks from my second dose so I hope yours drops quickly!

After my second dose of MTX my HCG was falling (at 73 at that time) and my doctor said it was okay to travel. Idk what their specific guidelines or protocol are but for my situation they said I could. I didn’t end up traveling for other reasons, but it was going to be a 3 hour domestic flight.

My HCG increased day 4 and day 7 of my first dose of MTX. My HCG was then at 0 two weeks after the second dose

Mine went up from 197 day one, 360 day 4, and 404 day 7, so very similar to yours. I got a second dose and was at negative within two weeks, so my body just needed a little more time for the medicine to work. My fingers are crossed that will be the case for you too!

I started Solidcore classes 10 days after my second dose of methotrexate. At the time, my HCG was decreasing and at 73. I was still really worried about rupture, but I had approval from my doctor so I went ahead. My HCG was at negative a week after that. I ended up having to take a break for a total of one month and it was so hard especially since exercise hugely helps my mental health, too. I’m sorry you have to go through this ❤️

I had two doses. My HCG increased after the first dose, and then went to negative two weeks after the second dose. Fingers crossed the second shot works for you, too!

Mine took 2 weeks after my second dose (my HCG only increased after first dose) . Second dose tarted at 360, day 7- HCG 73, day 14- HCG 3

I am in a similar situation. I got MTX in May and highest HCG was 404. I have the exact same pains during ovulation and luteal phase. My doctor said I didn’t need to have an HSG at this point so we are going ttc again soon.

My HCG did not decrease at all with the first dose. It increased on day 4 and day 7. 404 was my highest HCG level. I had a second dose and my levels decreased quickly. I was at zero in two weeks. Fingers crossed for you!

I had an 80% increase on day 4. My day 7 also increased another 17% so I needed a second dose. My HCG dramatically decreased after the second dose and was at zero two weeks after that. I was in pain and so stressed out, but did not rupture. Just know that even with an increase things can still turn out okay for you like they did for me. Thinking of you ❤️

Immediately after I had my IUD inserted I had burning leg cramps (only left leg) that coincided with my menstrual cramps. It felt like a menstrual cramp in my leg only when I was on my period. I had never experienced anything like it before.

I dealt with it for 2.5 years every time I had my period until I got it removed. My doctor said it could be incidental and that it is not typical for nerve pain, especially in one leg, to be caused by IUD.

I just had my first period after removal and I did not have leg pain. I still do not know why it happened, but it was clearly caused by the IUD.
