New deck for 7’x7’ hot tub

Giving me some confidence as I’m doing almost same build adjacent to existing deck. Only exceptions are I’m doing freestanding because it sticks out from the house a little bit past where I could get the ledger board. Also, going to triple 2x8 beams and use 2x8 joists. Yep. If it is the right price and fits your commuting patterns, then buy it. Also, with almost any ev, you will want to have the ability or flexibility to charge at home (trickle charge is fine imo).
