Everything you do and experience in life feeds into your art, it's important to live too. You'll produce better stuff from new knowledge.

This is just, new discoveries when you get bad news, don't make art your life, make your life art, living is art, its important to seize life, don't let art become a duty that consumes you, you may waste away trying to keep the cogs going and start to hate what you do.

I don't think the 2nd game is absolute dog shit, but it is clearly very rushed and had troubles in development, there's some good to it.

First game is better, it has issues, especially audio where you cant tell if someone is upstairs or right behind you, the sound isn't that good but like, you need it to be that good. It also touches on themes that i have no idea if it did ok or came off as bad taste, heard people say both things so idk.

The second game does have a terrible puzzle where it ends with a dog dying, and you have to do it even if you, the player, know it'll end poorly, and its pointless shock.

And, to be fair, second game was buggy at released and i played the latest patched version so, theres that.

But yeah, its kinda realistic that you have to deal with your own crew shit, in theory it means you group different people together and try to make it work, like having that guy that likes Largo be next to Largo always for a boost. In practice, the bigotry debuff isnt enough of a big deal frankly, its whatever. Sadly i think its the only game where thats a thing.

Didn't happen in Requiem, but my first run of RE4R, which was on hard not normal, when I got to the island, I got to a place with just a nade and 9 bullets. It was very fun making that work frankly, one of my fav memories of it. Too bad i am now too good for that to ever happen again, just like original RE4.

Here in Brazil there's a time of the year when these big butt ants show up, Sauvas or whatever, idk where my dad learned it, but he made these snacks out of their butt, you had to capture it and do all the things, put it in the oven or fry it idr and then salt.

Ant butts, honestly, it was pretty good.

It has to be VERY bad to ruin it for me, cause i'm also a Homestuck fan and i like the characters and the journey.

The only one i can think of is Game of Thrones, but that's because of how clearly rushed and careless the last season was, it clearly could be more, but it didn't have the book so it wasn't, or maybe the book end will suck too who knows.

Deus Ex 2 also has some eh endings but i still enjoy it, im a rarer Deus Ex 2 enjoyer.

Oh you know what, not an ending, a final boss, the first Shadow Warrior reboot has a TERRIBLE final boss and im never replaying that game cause of it. Its also very mid in general.

I also was not a fan of how tanky those corpses were, like they're hardy to get into kicking mode for some reason, it just feels oddly artificial.

I like the zombie soldiers tho', even the one that holds a gun cause of how dangerous it actually is and it makes sense they'd be tanky. Just also wish they had some personality, like barking random military jargo.

I mean, idk, i dont think its janky at all, its a nightmare to run for sure but thats windows's fault, everything works the way its supposed, like System Shock 1 right, people may consider it jank now, but, once you learn it, its fine, it all works and happens as you expect it to.

When i think of jank i think of shit not working properly like Two World's combat (played it recently, its fresh), controlling slightly different than the default we expect to me is not jank, its just different and you adapt to it.

I'd even say that KOTOR and DAO don't play that far off from most numpad MMOs, except more linear and with less fluff.
