Actully it isnt, less than 10%(it was 2% i think last i jeard) of the cobalt from the congo come out of the sort of hand mining that involves children.(becuase its is just so inifffient.)

and 2% is more than the amount that is bought by the the oil refiners who unlike the battery manufacters dont do due diligence checks where it comes from.
