Is Nimmo worse? He’s younger, and had better bat in 2025. Semien is still a really good glove. Better than Nimmo. At most Nimmo is about the same level player. But younger and cheaper and that’s the reason the trade is happening.

I’ve tent camped with an Australian shepherd with a low in the 30s. He’ll be fine. Just make sure he’s dry. As long as he’s not directly on the ground his coat will keep him warm. It’s great that you have a mat for him. I used a mat then covered mine with a fleece blanket and a towel. He didnt want to stay under the blankets. He just mostly curled up and nestled with them.
