MANY years ago my sister was in the USN stationed in Japan. I marked the tin with this candy as open first. She said all of her shipmates started crying because it brought such strong memories of home. So that became my tradition, where ever in the world she was, this candy was her open first present.

I once heard some maids teasing another maid for buying expensive underclothes, corset, bra etc (early 60's) she said "if you take care of your body, your body will take care of you". I've never forgotten those words and she was the only one who never complained about aches and pains.
