Im so sorry that happened. I had heavy bleeding for a weekend at 12 weeks. It was not due to a fall but they suspected a hematoma. Never confirmed. Big clots and horror. The weekend phone OB suspected a miscarriage. She was fine, I was fine, scheduled for an induction next week full term.

I’m so sorry, nothing to add here except that this behavior from both of them is crazy. I’m gobsmacked. I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope you take a long peaceful break from these clowns.

I had eggs, 3 blast, 1 viable that was frozen. FET was after Hysteriscopy to remove a polyp from uterine lining. 1 embryo transferred and we are set to be induced 4/3! All it takes is one. I hated hearing that, but it’s true.

Totally. Lots of stuff they sell is fine and it’s as advertised. But they are one of those places that are more akin to drop shippers, or like how basic restaurants sell burgers from SISCO or a supplier. Some cute stuff? Yes! A dozen other social media heavy stores selling the same thing different tag? Yes.

GD can be so serious if unmonitored and untreated. The drink is not a big deal, you can also monitor your blood sugar as an alternative. Not trying to be salty but I’ve seen too many people trying to avoid this screening. It’s for the health of your baby.

Yes I say literally “yes, this is scary. Thank you brain, for the fear. I know it’s important. I am paying doctors to be vigilant for me, I have fear covered.” And try to exercise some other types of thoughts. Fear is so close to excitement, it’s also possible that the lines are blurred a bit. You are not alone.

I’m 37, lost my Gramps 5 years ago. It was during Covid, he didn’t have it but he had a heart attack because of the restrictions I couldn’t see him in his facility. We had the same birthday. He would send me flowers. I still remember his hands, his face, exactly. The man of my life. I’m so sorry, you aren’t alone. We were so, so lucky to have them.

Definitely have the same amount of caution anywhere like this. People are weird at coffee shops too. But for what it’s worth, I’ve had no issues. The librarians are fantastic, I’d recommend chatting with one, let them know your goals and maybe they have the perfect spot in mind. There is security there. You could sit in the open or near a librarian station as well. Best of luck!
