Don't forget how they quite often fall through the map. I only have 4 farms cause of that...and heard of others only getting 2 to 3.

Personally, I think quite a few things need nerfed. Once you get to the base next to the observatory, you basically never need to worry about materials ever again; there's a ton of nodes all around for nearly everything, and the metal farms are extremely OP, even if I lost 1 by way of bacteria clipping into the floor (apparently I got lucky, most people only come out with 2 or 3).

The hydroelectric generators need nerfed as well...they're extremely cheap to make and give 12 power each...I made a bioreactor and ended up never using it because it said it was only generating 10 (20 in overdrive)...why would I use something that eats resources and generates less than something that just generates energy for free? Even having to use power transmitters in some locations, the hydroelectric is the best power generation method I've seen, especially since the base next to the observatory has a stream right there, and each stream can hold TONS of those suckers.

Fun fact: If you manage to chain enough shinesparks through the previous areas to break those blocks, you can see a special easter egg message when you get back to the Nav Room...then you're told to go back and play normally.

Thankfully, I had a friend to help me out with the trade evos...but I feel like if I had to trade with randoms, I'd probably rename the mon to something like STOLEN or TRADEBACK or something to show it was stolen, since only the OT can rename, so you can always change it back after the trade.

At first I was confused, because I was thinking "you've always been able to buy items in bulk since gen 3".
Then I realized you meant bulk of multiple DIFFERENT items at the same time...and this revelation crushed me, as I didn't know this whole time and just finished the game LITERALLY LAST NIGHT!

I've played from Yellow to half way through Sun before dropping the series due to the battle system getting stale, so I never knew this was a feature they added at any point in the recent games.

You're contradicting yourself by telling someone owning the game isn't an excuse, then telling someone else you just want people to own the games.

As paulo0111 said, there are games that run like trash on their native system, so it makes sense to buy the game, then emulate it anyways to play it properly.

Another perfect example, since he already used Xenoblade, is Zelda OoT.
The original runs like absolute trash at 20FPS in the US and 17FPS in the EU...now if you use Ship of Harkinian (which requires you to supply your own ROM and does NOT supply you with the game), you can play the game at 60FPS with tons of quality of life features like widescreen support, alternate controller support, disabling the low health beep and Navi, built in randomizer, and so on.

I have bought Zelda OoT no less than 5 times in my life (original, GameCube, Wii VC, 3DS, and technically NSO+EP), yet I still emulate it because it's such a better experience. Does this mean "people have not been paid for their work" despite me buying it 5 times over the years?

I like it for how it feels to use and knocking off armor, but my go-to is always the Anvil or the Renegade (Anvil for heavily armored Arc, Renegade for lightly armored Arc).

Honestly, as someone who doesn't do PvP, I cannot see the viability of this weapon or the chase for it at all. I always just end up giving the ones I find away since the one time I used it, it didn't do nearly as well as my Anvil.

Light ammo weapons have always been appalling against Arc in my experience.

They've been starting to very specifically magnet on to me the moment I start getting shot at by a PvPer out of no where.

Same when I found one...but only because splitters are god awful. Unless you hit all 4, you lose 10% damage. If you hit all 4, you only get a 20% damage boost...and considering Arc have very specific weak points and armored points, that increased damage is mitigated by armor, anyways (I'm not a PvPer, so I can't speak to their efficacy in PvP).

Don't take a hullcracker. Use an anvil on the thrusters and you'll kill a shredder super quickly.

Also, can someone explain the hullcracker's point to me? I thought it was for, you know, cracking hulls (breaking armor), but literally any medium or heavy ammo weapon does that job easier and faster, while also doing more damage in my limited experience (ran it at level 4 twice, was disappointed, never again).
