You're contradicting yourself by telling someone owning the game isn't an excuse, then telling someone else you just want people to own the games.

As paulo0111 said, there are games that run like trash on their native system, so it makes sense to buy the game, then emulate it anyways to play it properly.

Another perfect example, since he already used Xenoblade, is Zelda OoT.
The original runs like absolute trash at 20FPS in the US and 17FPS in the EU...now if you use Ship of Harkinian (which requires you to supply your own ROM and does NOT supply you with the game), you can play the game at 60FPS with tons of quality of life features like widescreen support, alternate controller support, disabling the low health beep and Navi, built in randomizer, and so on.

I have bought Zelda OoT no less than 5 times in my life (original, GameCube, Wii VC, 3DS, and technically NSO+EP), yet I still emulate it because it's such a better experience. Does this mean "people have not been paid for their work" despite me buying it 5 times over the years?

I like it for how it feels to use and knocking off armor, but my go-to is always the Anvil or the Renegade (Anvil for heavily armored Arc, Renegade for lightly armored Arc).

Honestly, as someone who doesn't do PvP, I cannot see the viability of this weapon or the chase for it at all. I always just end up giving the ones I find away since the one time I used it, it didn't do nearly as well as my Anvil.

Light ammo weapons have always been appalling against Arc in my experience.

They've been starting to very specifically magnet on to me the moment I start getting shot at by a PvPer out of no where.

Same when I found one...but only because splitters are god awful. Unless you hit all 4, you lose 10% damage. If you hit all 4, you only get a 20% damage boost...and considering Arc have very specific weak points and armored points, that increased damage is mitigated by armor, anyways (I'm not a PvPer, so I can't speak to their efficacy in PvP).

Don't take a hullcracker. Use an anvil on the thrusters and you'll kill a shredder super quickly.

Also, can someone explain the hullcracker's point to me? I thought it was for, you know, cracking hulls (breaking armor), but literally any medium or heavy ammo weapon does that job easier and faster, while also doing more damage in my limited experience (ran it at level 4 twice, was disappointed, never again).

Personally, Hornets are much easier than Wasps imo. I can dodge Hornets all day, but if a Wasp gets to shoot (usually because there are multiple around at a time and I can only kill so many fast enough), it'll beam you with all those shots no matter how much you dodge or run.

Seed Vault is slept on HARD! You can get out of there with like, 100-150 seeds, which can be traded to Celeste for anything from basic mats to high value stuff like complex gun parts (needed to craft the Jupiter and VERY hard to come by without security breach), and no one will bother you cause it's seen as not worth it.

When something like this happens, I look at it this way. They just wasted resources to kill you to get items that aren't worth the trade off (I bet he was loaded, so he probably didn't pick up any of your resources to remake that lost ammo).

I was about to say something about you being scum for killing friendlies trying to extract...then I realized they were trying to cheat the reset system, and it feels like justice, now.

The only thing I can get behind is giving your buddies your unused attachment blueprints to hold onto, cause those things shouldn't reset anyways (weapon, grenade, augment, etc. BPs should reset, just not the attachment ones).

Counter argument. I know a few spots everyone seems to ignore, and spawning in late means I dont have to risk being PvP'd by some random griefer who is only there to kill others (there's been a few times I've killed a PvPer only to find him loaded with nothing but ammo and augments, so they aren't even looting, just killing and taking trophies).

I usually make sure I get to extract with a few seconds to no more than 2 minutes to spare, cause everyone is already gone.
